===========================

We begin with a squad of fiery Soulborgs and a determined Dwarf in the Dwarf And Soulborgs booster.

Vulcanmech Incendiborgs

Valkrill looks to spice up his army with a Valkyrie favorite: Soulborgs!

We designed the Vulcanmech Incendiborgs' Redundant Systems to allow them to survive some hits, similar to the Mezzodemons' Exoskeleton. And what else does an Incendiborg need? Why, a flamethrower, of course. A little twist on Fire Line, and we got the effect we wanted. We are delighted to present this card with its two powers from official cards, tweaked to give you some truly nasty, evil robots.

The figures used for this unit are AT-43 figures from the Red Blok set. The name of the figure is Strielitz Kolossus Unit Box.

Ulfrid Hornwrangler

Next, Jandar gets into the act of recruiting a non-standard race to his ranks. This dwarf will put everything on the line to make sure his opponent is defeated, including his own life. That type of Grim Determination is just what Jandar is looking for!

Note that this is an idea initiated by one of our Public Access Members; once it got some momentum, it took off like a shot. The idea was a Dwarven Hero that would fight tooth and nail to defeat his opponent, regardless of the wounds he might take himself. Add a boon from Jandar with "Shield of Valor" and you get a unique but familiar unit in the canon, and an excellent example of what a PAM can bring to the C3V effort.

The figure used for this unit is a Legendary Encounters figure. Its model name is Dwarf Warrior 20034.
-------------------------------------------

Okay folks, we are going classic Heroscape nostalgia with this wave. Remember way back when Wave 1 hit the stores and there were those red hexagon things in the window of each booster? Well, we're starting something new for the C3V: Glyphs!

This week's glyph is the Glyph of Holdir. It puts the "Heroic" back into Unique Hero.

Next week, Valkrill will expand his ranks with two new commons which both bring an air of suicidal chaos, and a Vydar figure will join the game who is fleet of foot. Also, another cool new glyph.

Thanks for the info and the <LINK>. I didn't know that you had "BOOKS" up for all these characters already, I usually don't have time to go searching through the various Forums. Maybe that word "immediately" should appear on the Ulfrid's card for clarification of the Grim Special Attack? Will this "...must attack again..." happen repeatedly, or only a set number of times (i.e. twice)? I get the feeliong that once he attacks - someone (either himself or his target) HAS TO DIE.

Yep, once Grim Determination is activated either Ulfrid or his opponent has to be destroyed before you move on.

I think it's pretty standard practice for all of the effects of a special attack to take place during the attack phase of that turn. I think that specification really is only needed there if you're doing something different than the norm, which is not the case here.

Double attack doesn't specify that the second attack must come immediately, but we all know it must.
