Are you looking for advice, such as people's experience with such armies? Or looking for some pre-built armies to try out?

EDIT: sorry, typing my post while you posted your last :) How many points were you thinking of?

OK here are few examples off the top of my head for one species armies around 400 points in strength....

Orc Army
Grimnak
Blade Gruts x 3
Arrow Gruts x 2
Swog Rider x 3

Venoc Army
Venoc Warlord
Venoc Vipers x 3
Elite Onyx Vipers
Armoc Vipers

Marro Army
Ne Gok Sa
Me Burq Sa
Marro Warriors
Marro Drones X 4

You could also put together all Roman armies, all Greek armies, Soulborg armies, Kyrie armies, etc.

Off the top of my head, here's a Marro army I'd like to try (590 points)
Su-Bak-Na
4x Marro Drones
2x Marden Hounds
Marro Warriors

try to swarm with the hounds and drones and then mop up with marro warriors and su-bak-na, something like that.

i want to know if I need to buy more figures or i have enough for a good army.

If you want to take advantage of common squads, you will want multiples of those sets - marro drones, for example, need at least 3 squads to take full advantage of their special ability, and preferably 4 or more (if points allow ;) ) so they stick around.

Your welcome - those on these boards generally enjoy questions such as these :) There are a few topics already on army building - unfortunately the search functions aren't working at the moment, but if you poke around I'm sure you will come across them.

This 400 point army is not all one species, but it pwns. UPC came up with it, and I can tell you it is well balanced, and can dish out some serious pain.

2x Minute Men
2x Roman Legionaires
1x Marcus
1x Me-Burq-Sa

I have switched out Me-Burq-Sa, depending on the situation, but you need the Minute Men and Marcus at least. Sit your Minute Men on height with Marcus behind, wait then fire with 5 attack dice. :D

The Dutmef

Dutmef guard x16

If there's a lot of roads, 400 points worth of guards could be very effective. It would be a rare day that I'd try this, however.

Equal numbers of grut archer squads and swog riders are a good field. For 65 points, you maneuvre 1 rider and 1 squad together, taking advantage of the riders bonuses. At 400 points, you can draft 6 pairs, 7 at 500. And there's still a little change left over for a few blade gruts to guard the baggage waggons.

A few months ago at one of the DFW gatherings Rychean's brother (I think it was his brother) played an army of 16 Dumutef Guards. He was one of six armies on a huge map, and though he didn't win it all he sure lasted a long long time.
