Here is the most recent manifestation of my Dark Templar.
Tassadar was the only protoss templar to harness the power of both the High Templar and the Dark Templar.
I have given him Invisbiltiy and Psionic Storm. He has low defense and low life. Dark Templar always have high attack.
I am looking for any help I can get on the invisbility wording. Also any feedback on the points and stats would be greatly appreciated.

Tassadar should only be attacked by an adjacent enemy units
But beside that every thing esle looks great

Bombman,
The concept I am trying to achieve is that once Tassadar is engaged he is no longer invisible.
So ranged figures can target him from range but only if he is engaged.
I am not sure whether the current wording conveys that cleary or not.

Love the fig. Voted for him in the prelims but had to go with mine in the finals. Here's my suggestion for Invisibility:
Invisibility
Tassadar may not be the target of an attack unless he is engaged.
That should allow for explosions and fireline to hit him when he is invisible. For fireline, you choose spaces instead of a fig. Of course this does not allow friendlies to attack at range either but, I'm not sure why you would want that.

There should probably be a saying involving simple minds and simple wording.

I fixed the wording on Invisibility (thanks Chaoschild) and lowered his life and point value.

He is supposed to be like an assassin (dark Templar) / magic user (high templar). He is invisible and has a ranged splash damage special. That could be devastating given the inability to retaliate
But now if he does get engaged for more than a turn or two, he will die.
He is 3 life now and at 110 pts.
I need to get some play testing in with him with these current stats. As always, any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

You know wat I forgot about? Can he be targeted by special abilities (Stare of Stone, etc.) when he is invisible? If not, you might want to add that.
"...cannot be the target of an attack or special ability..."

I like that a lot. What figure are you using?

I think I am just going to make it invisible to attacks. Specials like sharp shooter, stare of stone, poisonous breath, etc...i think it is good to leave him vunerable to those.

That is a Master Set Mod. Ne Gok Sa w/Finn's cape.
Make shift face from the horn on the back of NGS's neck.
Hair from Syvarris bow and Finn's bird.

Rychean, any possibility of some pics of him on the battlefield? looks great on the card, would be interested in seeing some alternative angle shots of him. :P

Just an idea I had. What if you drop the defense down to 1 and give him a Protoss force field? You could have 2 or 3 force field markers. Instead of placing a wound marker on the card, one force field marker is removed. Once there are no force field markers on the card wound markers are placed on the card. Every round a force field marker is returned to the card.

Seems like you have already ironed out the bugs in this custom so I'll just say good job. I like him.

My question is, if he is invisible, how can he be engaged? He can't be target for an attack, so he can't be engaged. I'm not trying to be nitpicky or rude, I'm just trying to get clarification, ya know?
Sorry if I've come off harsh, just can't think of a way to reword it right now.

He is still a figure on the board. There is no game mechanic to truly make him unknown and unseen to his enemies. The idea is that to reveal him to be the target of an attack, he has to be engaged with the an enemy unit.
It is a great deal like thorian speed except that once he is engaged, he can be targeted from range until he is no longer engaged.
