View Full Version : My new house is awesome!

i have lived in this house for a week. 7 days.

I have a full-size bed, 2 dresser, a 19-inch tv WITH a small-ish entertainment center, 23 small-ish book-shelves, a cabinet for video games/movies, and a love-seat sized couch bed in my room. I have a PS2, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and a DVD/VCR hooked up to my TV. I also have the potential to have an Atari hooked up as well.

1 dresser is deidcated to clothes (duh) and the other is dedicated solely to HEROSCAPE!
One of the bookshelves (the smallest one) has bokos on it. the other 2 are stacked, and empty currently. I plan on using them for more HS and other miscellaneous stuff.

My room is approximately 14x12 (not including closet space; who needs it?), and still have enought room to pull out my 6x4 table for Heroscape. And leave it up for a small amount of time, if i had to. With that table, i can comfortably fit 4, maybe 5 players with me.


Heres how i am going to paint my walls: a 23 inch tall border of flames. Orange Flames on a black Background, outlined with purple. All the way around my room, even on backs of doors (all 4 of them)



i'll have pics up when i finish everything (no clue when imma be painting...soon hopefully)

ah this brings back memorys of when i first moved in. the house always looks so "new" untill you've lived there awhikle.

actually, you should see 2 SNES. one is hooked up, one isnt (why do i need 2?) i think one of them belongs downstairs with my parents, but i've been to lazy to care.

oh yeah? have snes games on my computer :P , in fact, i was playing some a few minutes ago until i decided to chek to see if anything new had been posted(sorry for the off-topic, i just wanted to brag, "nya-nya!"; j/k)

that shelf is actually 2 separate shelves stacked.
they were both built as shoe-shelves, by my dad a while back.


@Django: DUH! i did that before it was even our house!

@Gambit: I personally prefer the real system over emulators. The pnly thing i lik eabout emulators is the ability to freeze at any given moment.

believe me or not, but i'm not a fan of nascar as much as i used to be; the only reason i have the flag etc. is because it has sentimental value
