ullars wellspring (no water)

this is my first custom, i will show pics with the water in, and i will add more of my customs later, hope you enjoy :D

Wow, that looks really good. That would go well with the SoTM terrain(swamp, hive, etc.)

Do you plan on filing it with a solid water of some kind? That would look even cooler than it already is, but I don't know how you would do that. Looks great though.

nope im putting on a coat of poly (water resistent stuff) and putting in real water, will be done by tommorrow

I wouldn't put actual water in it, I would put some resin kinda stuff so it looks like water but you don't have to drain it and dry stuff off every time you play.

Yea, filling and draining the wellspring could mess with the flock around the spring. Just my two cents.

I'm probably jumping in a little late, but instead of water most craft stores sell this stuff called Envirotex Lite. It's a type of varnish but it's clear and can be used as very cool looking water. There is also a product from woodland scenics that is pretty close to the same thing-- i don't remember the name, but it has something to do with water effects.
