I am playing number one right now, I just bought it a month or so ago, the Diamond version that has all the different expansions in it. Awesome game.

I did the same thing, glad i found the Diamond version at a decent price.

Started playing not too long ago.

It's all coming back to me, since i played the original when it first came out.

With the patches I've enjoyed #2 about as much as number one. #2 has a better story so far (I've not completed it so no spoilers please and thanks).

#1 was good, but not so much until after chapter 1

Yes, because if you're lazy, you'll never know how to properly ridicule your fellow 'scapers. :P

I will be honest. I am too lazy to dig through 9 pages to get updated on one joke.

I suspect they are saying they preferred the killing monsters than the seemingly endless customization that is Neverwinter Nights... Speaking of which anyone download CeP one and two for NWN?

Community Expansion Pack, it is a downloadable that is commonly required by most online servers.

Necro is teasing me (good one, too, Necro...I laughed pretty hard, actually!) because in a Diablo 2 thread, I made the cardinal sin of recommending a newer, better-looking Diablo-style game called, "Titan Quest". Several old-school PC gamers in there disliked my suggestion that there might be a better version, if you will, of Diablo 2 in the form of Titan Quest - the primary complaint was that they don't want to have to upgrade to play modern games.

There, now you're caught up on the joke.

I think you missed the point of the complaints, I don't think anyone was complaining that you recommended a different game, or that you even thought it was better (prettier) than Diablo 2, it wasn't even that you were off-topic a bit (who hasn't done that before (we are doing it in this thread right now!)). The primary complaint (at least from me) was that you kept going on and on and on about Titan Quest after you'd made your point about you thinking it was a better game. It had nothing to do with disliking your suggestion, (if I had a better video card I would probably play Titan Quest), it had everything to with going on and on and on about how much better Titan Quest is than Diablo 2.

Sure, NOW you tell me! :)

I was mainly just defending the game from various comments made, that's all. If someone posts something incorrect or insinuates something wrong about it, I felt the need to clarify or correct that. Probably went a bit overboard but I think we're all capable of that from time to time (some of us, like me, more than others though).

I wasn't trying to say it was a better game (TQ) just different and fun for modern PC systems - that's all. :)

My apologies for bringing it up again.

Glad you were able to laugh at my joke, Wytefang.
