It might be of interest to you that in theology there is a technical difference between a peacekeeper and a peacemaker (as in "Blessed are the peacemakers.")

A peacemaker steps (at least metaphorically) between two combatants and, in effect, says, "If you must hit someone, hit me, rather than each other." Especially if one of the combatants is weaker and vulnerable, the peacemaker offers him or herself as an alternative and protective target.

On the other hand, the peacekeeper is one who is stronger than both of the combatants (think of a teacher on an elementary school playground) who stops the fighting by being stronger (not necessarily more violent) than the fighters. Hence, Mr. Colt's six shooter was called "the Peace Keeper". (EDIT: as Niteraider will correctly point out in the next message, this is incorrect. Colt's six shooter was the "Peacemaker" not "Peace Keeper," an interesting theological intrepretation!)

The military can provide peace keeping forces. Missionaries are more peace makers (at least, one would hope).

I love this card! I plan on painting a small red dot on the forehead of one of my Heroclix figs, and painting its hair gray to match mine and the avatars. That way I can play with myself.................... :shock:
