That's some very nice looking terrain!
But how do you plan on keeping track of the life of squad figures if they have more than 1 life?

use wound markers duh?no offence

Yeah i figured wound markers of some sort. There are only 7 hexes that can give this bonus. I was thinking of some battle royal in the center to control the shrine :)

Placing marker on the figures themselves just seems...clunky to me. But I guess it could work, since they won't be moving around much, having to stay on the shrine. Then again, other members of the squad could be out and about...
Also, loose =/= lose.

I love it too. Very nice workmanship. I think that everything in HS ought to be damaged and blown half to bits.
I notice you have defense on the structure. Is it destructible? I've thought of destructible terrain before...sure others have as well.
PS Is that a glossy coat on it?

Yes the terrain is destructible. If you destroy the head then the shrine no longer offers the hit point bonus. Though the head dosnt come off the tile its fixed too.
As far as glossy i just put a coat of clear coat on to protect the paint, it was till wet when i took photos

I see. Very interesting - so, if you can't push someone out of the shrine, you could attack the shrine itself!

We need to consolidate all of your currently running threads. I want to feature you in the 5ive, but you've got three quality threads right now and I can't pick just one. :excited:

Sure, but i dont think i have the options todo that. Maybe one of the Admins can relable a thread and move everything to one. Then ill just post anything new there.

The shrine looks all shiny and cool. I, too, would be concerned about tracking 2 lives for squads and commons. If I had one zombie out of 24 standing up on the shrine, suddenly I have to track Lives for all those figures, even though they are "belong" to the same army card.

Zombies are kewl, ive never seen there card until just now. So ouch yeah that would be a pain to track that many. But i guess it would be a small price to pay to have 24 zombies with 2 lives... I hope you would win that game :P
I personal had invisioned using unused glyphs under the squad figures that are not on the shrine. If that figure took 1 point of damage remove the glyph, if it took another it would be dead.

Keeping track of a squad figure with one damage to it wouldn't be hard. Just put a wound marker next to the figure. This is only a problem if the figure is on a ladder, but even then you could just remember that the figure on the ladder has a wound.
Leifkicker, the shrine is amazing. I like that you actually made it a play mechanic instead of just something pretty to throw on the battlefield.
