Dark Tower

Back in the eighties I used to play this game a lot with my little brothers. In recent years one of them has been hounding eBay looking for a deal for it. The prices at eBay are ridiculous for this game. After some searching I found this.

nice I still have the game..it werks for the most part, but is missing a few pieces here and there

I've got one of these in my closet right now, and I believe it's still in perfect condition. Maybe it's time I dug it out and gave it a fresh play.

My dad used to play this game. My brother and I used to try to play with him, but we were too young to really grasp the concept. However, I had completely forgotten about it, until I read this thread. It brought back a lot of really good memories guys, thanks! :)

I'm excited about a prospect for multiplayer as well.

I have noticed a small flaw. Twice now I died soon after starting and the game gave me a score of 99. It should be 0.

So far my best legitimate score with this has been 93.

Great link! My Dark Tower still works fine. I've played it every few years or so. Cool game. The neatest is the elusive "score" 0-99 as you mentioned... if you can make it around the board efficiently enough and win against a lot of brigands in the Tower. Pegasus comes in handy. Quite fun. Looking forward to my kids being old enough to play.

I still have the game but for some reason it doesn't work anymore. It's obviously old but, we took really good care of our stuff including this. I often wondered if anyone knew how to fix it if I could take it somewhere for repair.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane. I used to play this a lot, along with a game called "Voice of the Mummy" from around the same time. My Dark Tower bit the dust when I went away to college and my mom cleaned out my room. Rats....

search ebay for Dark Tower....
that's how I found him...
if he's still around ye might have to wade through a few pages but he used to put auctions up that stated Dark Tower repairs or such.
