Here's my first shot at making some lava tiles from grass / water. I got the idea from Grish who is now officially my hero/idol/etc. Let me know what you think. There are a few different ideas portrayed here and I'm trying to decide which I like best to continue with. Thanks for looking.

Those are magnificent!
Love the glowing magma on seeping in the cracks of the lava terrain.
The swirly molten lava is keen, too.

Nice stuff, Rufus.

Those are cool, I played with some a while back but went a much simpler route...I did not like the cones as much as the tiles. I have almost a whole Master set doen up this way.

Here check em out

Thanks for the feedback guys. Hey SkyKnight, for a simple solution to lava tiles, those look really cool.

They look really good. Nice work.

I did something similar but a little bit lighter.

I wrote a tutorial for the lava tiles - unfortunately only in german. But maybe even the pictures tell enough: Gidians Lava tiles (http://gidian-gelaende.de/GidiansHeroscape/00000097850754e03/03c19898e90cdb02f.html)

Thatīs a golem I sculpted myself a few month ago. Here are some more pictures:
Lava Golem (http://gidian-gelaende.de/GidiansHeroscape/00000097810fafddf/03c19898e91370013.html)

But you can also use it as a Stone Golem (http://gidian-gelaende.de/GidiansHeroscape/00000097810fafddf/03c19898e91375f1b.html) or a Fieldstone Golem (http://gidian-gelaende.de/GidiansHeroscape/00000097810fafddf/03c19898e9137ac23.html).
Unfortunately I'm not the best painter. ;)

Well, after seeing yours, I may have to rethink mine a bit. Maybe go for something in the middle ground. It looks like you used yellow as your base color, I may try something similar with orange.

Unfortunately I'm not the best painter.
If this isn't your best work, I can't wait to see the good stuff.
