New Hampshire players may post here. Just figured I'd start a NH thread, not that many HQ members were from NH but what the heck.

Guy, I'm in Jaffrey and people are always like: "Where's NH?"and I'm always like "North of Boston, East of Vermont, Not Maine." and then they're like "Oh, that's what's there...hmmm."

Hello everyone. Im from Nashua. Good to see so many NH players arround.

BTW can anyone explain why all the stores in Nashua have a poor selection of HS sets? Also really would like to build my marro drone army, does anyone know where I can find more Utgar's Rage sets?

Was down at Walmart in Hudson NH and noticed they have the Heroscape : Marvel Legends sets. Anyone know if they are really worth 25 bucks a pop?

Maska

Try the Targets in NH (both) and Bedford.....

Also remember there a Walmart in Bedford too... not just the Hudson/Amhert/Manchester ones.... oh and the Hookset ones too

And welcome to the NH crowd :)

The legends sets thing turned out to be a big myth. They have the price tags on the shelves with its name and a reserved spot for em but as we all know they wont have them anytime soon. What a tease!

Maska, its nice to meet another scaper from the same city. I live in the tree streets. (the good side.)

Maybe we could game one day. Too bad Wizard's tower closed. That was an ideal meeting spot for gamers to meet.

I found wave 6 in December myself. I did see a few boxes here and there the last few weeks. Where are you locatd in Maine? I have 3 TRU's, 9 Walmarts, and 2 Targets within an hours drive so I usually find everthing I need. I just picked up another Fogotten Forest set. I know to Pick up everything new when I see it. The store had tons of flag bearer sets when I found mine. Even 2 weeks later they still had some.

Lewiston/Auburn area. I make it to Portland about once a week and hit three Wal-marts on the way to and back, not to mention the one in Auburn a few times a week. A friend lives up around the Bangor area and he has yet to see any as well. I was just curious if they've migrated up here yet. Sounds like you're pretty close to the Maine border.

Hello all, I'm in the Manchester area; apparently there are more 'scapers in the area than I thought!

Hey guys! Sorry for invading. I was wondering if you've found wave 6 in New Hampshire yet. Maine seems to be dry.

Get out! This is our clubhouse! Actually, I quoted you to answer your question: the WalMart in Manchester, NH has a bunch of wave 6. It also had one fortress marked down to $20 as of yesterday, if anyone's interested. I think the Bedford WM had a couple packs of wave 6 left too.

<snip>
Maska, its nice to meet another scaper from the same city. I live in the tree streets. (the good side.)

Wow, it's odd hearing someone on the boards making local references that I actually understand! I have a friend who used to do 40k at Wizard's Tower. Sorry to hear it closed.

I assume no one's seen wave 7 around yet? Last I knew the Manchester WM, Bedford WM, Bedford Target, and Hooksett Target did not. I know there's a thread for wave 7 sightings, but I'm sure not everyone bothers posting to the sightings threads, so I figured I'd ask.

Is that the Walmart in Keene? If so, I hope you check out the Target while you're there too- that's the place I finally managed to find the Road expansion set at. I had almost given up hope of finding it offline.

No, it's right on the VT border. Hinsdale maybe? Earlier this week it was still all gladiators and agents.

I've been to that Target as well though - as of a couple of weeks ago they had wave 6 if anyone is still looking.

<checks Walmart site> Ah, yes, in Hinsdale. It's been a long time since I've been over that way (at least 10 years), so I don't really remember what's between Keene and Brattleboro. If it was even there back then. The Walmart, that is- I believe Hinsdale was there.

Trees and hills mainly. At least, it seems that way when driving between the two.

So far no wave 7 anywhere, still a lot of wave 6 and in my searches. I found a set of drones and minions and the snipers and vipers at the Salem Wal-mart when I first started a year ago, and some wave 4 at the kmart in salem. I have yet to look in the target around there. Also, in Manchester and Salem I have seen at least 2 of each of the flagbearers to complete my set. I was at the manchester TRU and they still have 2 gilbert and one laglor. Go eat them up !

I have considered picking up Gilbert and Laglor as possible prizes or at least trade fodder for the event, and I'm definitely going. Now I need to convince my brother, sister, GF, and maybe even a new friend.

"Trees and hills" is pretty much all I remembered, so I guess I did remember it clearly. :) That description seems to fit a lot of "highways" in NH, but that's not a bad thing IMO. The occasional weekend drive on those old, winding highways makes a welcome change from frantic death-defying rush-hour commutes to MA on route 93 or 3. I remember thinking the ~half hour drive from Keene to Brattleboro was painfully long and boring- I suspect I'd feel differently if I did it today. Of course, I'd have to drive to Keene first...

The flagbearers in Manchester? Hah, you'll have to get them before I do! No, really, please get them before I do- I want to save my cash for wave 7 and wave 3, and I only barely resisted them the last time. I was halfway to the register when I turned back and replaced them. They're probably still there, alone on the top shelf, looking tiny and vulnerable between the two non-HS products towering above them on either side... Save them before I have a chance to go back!

HA HA. And to think that I was the one that flanked them with those non-HS toys to disguise them a little. I guess scapers really do search high and low. I haven't seen any wave 7 anywhere in my travels, but I am sure that it will show up sometime. I saw the ninjas at the Manchester WalMart the other day, but already have mine so I didn't purchase them. I doubt that they would still be there, though.

Hey everyone. Been a while. Wanted to say hi.

There is a NH tourney in Oct 2007. check out this thread!

I can not go as I am going to a wedding. (its direct family so dont ask me not to go, its a non issue.)

I hope we can have more tourneys in NH. I know I love playing Heroscape in winter as it helps pass the time.
