I hadn't dropped 20 dollars on a road set yet, and I finally decided that it was time to do it. I bought my first road set today. I'm pretty excited, and honestly this is the only place to talk about my excitement without getting weird looks from people.

So yeah...sorry to waste your minute of time.

You'll want more once you set up a map.

More trees...

Bigger bridges...

Longer roads...

But congrats! RttFF is my favorite terrain expansion so far.

It's true. One just demands another, but three, we tell ourselves, now three will really do the trick.

But four is oh so nice...

... and then, just to keep things even, go directly to six when you feel compelled to buy your fifth set of RttFF. Seriously, this will save yourself an extra trip to the store when you get home and say to yourself, "GAH! I should have gotten a sixth!"

And I still only have 1

Now that I finally have all the figs and after I get Tundra extra road is my target. 3 Road, 2 Tundra, and 1 VW should be enough. The road set seems to be the most useful.

I only listed packs with a large amount of terrain, I have a lot more.
By the way congrats on the first RTTFF.

RTTFF is easily the best terrain expansion; IMO even better than the Tundra. Castle might give it a run for it's money, but i still doubt it.

With trees and roads and bridge, you cant ever have too much RTTFF.

I have 4 MS, 6 RTFF, 3 Lava, 3 TT....If I was to buy another terran expansion it would be RTTFF.

Like the guy who went to see a psychaitrist. The doctor asks him, "Tell me why are you here?"
The man replies, "Well, my wife thinks I'm crazy."
"And why do you think she thinks that you're crazy?"
"Oh, she thinks I'm crazy because I like donuts."
After a few moments, the shrink replies, "Hmmm, that's not crazy. I like donuts too."
"You do?" the man said, becoming excited, "Then you'd love to come to my house, I've got four rooms full of 'em!"

Same thing with RTTFFs.

Good man. It's never too late to become a tree hugger.

RTTFF is great. I have 10 just for those evergreens. I've paved over much of my battlefields in the past with roads, but now I control the urge to lay the cobblestone.

Tundra is a close second.

I dont have one yet, I would like one but it seems just too small for 20 bucks. I can get tree and the local craft store for cheaper. Do you think they are that great that I really need one, or is it the box is just so deceiving on content?

I currently own 8 RTFF and I absolutely feel they are a great value for $20.00. 5 evergreen Trees (Gives the map a much better apearance not to mention blocks L.O.S.), road tiles (which give a bonus to movement), a 5 hex long road section (bridge),sone walls (bridge sides which can be used for a nice railing on mountain tops) And a 25 point figure (Dumutef guard who has 5 A and 5 D when on a road hex and 4 A and D when not and boosts devourers attack). Get at least one and build and play with it. You will be suprised! The box does it NO justice at all IMHO.

Hey, but, generally, parents really are trying to do what is best for their kids. Sometimes we make mistakes. Sometimes our kids are ungrateful brats. But, mostly, people are trying to do what is best for the whole family; and that's not an easy thing to do or to get right.

RTTFF is by far one of the best expansions to get especially when you just start out with the Ms. Plus the trees are fun.
