I just hope that they do the multiplayer well. All in all the game looks fun and I magine there could be some nifty combos to pull off (or at least I hope).

This game will blow if the only options you have are Drive, Transform, Fight and Throw. If there are some more options, and a few combos, like say, Drive at full speed, hit a Ramp, Transform in mid air, pick up a small car when you land, bash your enemy in the skull plate, and then whip out a Pulse weapon and blast him in the chest for the kill. Now that would be friggan' awesome.

I agree CA, if done properly it could be a great game. While I heard the game play itself is pretty linear, as far as the story goes, apparently you can pick which side to fight for, autobots get points for protecting things and not destroying things. Decepticons get points for wreaking havoc.

The game itself has free roaming capabilities, as well as a fully interactive and destructible environment. I just hope you get to play someone besides bumblebee and barricade.

But...the bottom line is...if it sucks I'll probably still buy it, just used.

Yeah, even if the game is complete Carp, I'll still buy it.

I'd like to see the game act more like a task oriented game. You complete missions, and as you go you can earn new characters.

I imagine Bumblebee and Barricade are the level one characters for each side (seeing as how the two are more like scouts). You start off with them and as the story progresses you are able to use different bots.

Kind of like, if you don't defete Barricade and save Ironhyde from being detroyed, you fail and don't get to play as Ironhyde. You could continue on to the next level with Bumblebee or you could always go back and re-try the mission.

Target is advertising an exclusive "Robo-vision" version where you can unlock G1 skins. The way they word it, it sounds like the G1 skins are exclusive to Target. Has anyone been able to confirm this?

Unfortunately, I've heard bad things. I was determined to buy it, even with a decent review, but alas, there were none.

I rented it from block buster, the cinematics are cool, but i felt the game itself lacked in a few areas. You start out as bumblebee, and then as you complete objectives, u move on to use other autobots (or decepticons). The free roaming environment is cool, just think any of the spiderman games, with little side objectives.

For the most part though, some of the goals where more frustrating then fun, and made me want to throw my controller.

But check it out, my assesment may not be ur assesment.

Ditto. I never even finished it, and I never intend to. There were so many things they could have done better.

Here's a good one, how about giving us an actual cinimatic instead of cutting it off 6 secs early?

Or how about making the vehicle modes drive a little more like cars instead of ice cubes on a hotplate?

Or get rid of all that friggan worthless picture carp, and use that memory space for a better weapons system?

How about a story that doesn't completely change from the movie half way through?

How about giving me a fighting chance or strategy, instead of just throwing a pile of enemies at me? Heck, the Decepticon Cybertron 36 enemies level was easier than half of the missions in the game.

Or how about giving me an action area larger than 2 city block? I'm a 30 foot robot for crying out loud!


I've never played a game that I disliked so much before. If I were a gaming magazine, I'd give this thing a 4.3/10





...and yeah, my wall has a dent in it, in the shape of a 360 controller. I can only play that friggan Devastator/Brawl mission so many times before I throw a game out the window.
