As we are a world spread group, i will like to see something of the place you live in.
I start myself with some images about my town: BOLOGNA (ITALY).
The two towers (sort of a logo for this town, 'cause they're pretty unique)

I live in Apache Junction, Arizona, US. About 20 miles East of Phoenix. It's a desert here and very hot right now. We have perfect winters though. You can look at my online photo albums if you want to see pics of the area and desert (mostly pics of dune and desert quad riding, some wakeboarding and misc others).

Going to be hard to top your photos, Parduz :) But I'll try to post some of Loveland in the next few days.
I love the 2nd pic - the overview of the city where one can see the layout of the streets...

Runehardt, does snow in your area fall from a big creepy house on a hill?
Parduz, what exactly do you think of the fact that you live in the city with the same name that we use for mortadella?
CupidsArt, you should take a picture of WCH from the top of the nearest hill. ;)

Well... I could post some pictures of New York City but I believe you
could probably find a few shots of town on the web if you're interested.
Out here on Long Island (I live about 50 minutes from midtown
Manhatten via train) looks pretty much like the rest of "Generica", stip
malls, McDonalds, etc. I do have the Long Island sound just a couple of
miles north of me and some of the small towns are pretty charming (as
eastern seaboard kinda towns go). Perhaps I'll post some shots soon.

I hate that you all live some place nice. You are all bastards. I live in Arlington, Texas, where my front-door view is a parking lot. Across the parking lot? Low-rent apartments. In front of the apartments? A six-lane road. Down the road? Strip malls, gas stations, and fast-food places.
And that would be why I want to move to New England.

What are you talking about?
Are you crazy? Did you see all that snow in my pics?
Have you read those "I Don't have anybody to play with me?" posts by those of us who live in these places?
What do you have, about 50 people down there who will play HS at the drop of a hat?
But I really hope you get to move where you want...sorry if the Hasbro thing didn't happen (is that correct? You haven't heard otherwise?)
Funrun: This is "Big Red" which is across the channel from Holland State Park.

Anyway, you had me scratching my head when you wrote western coast? We call it the West Shore.
Coasts are on the ends of the continent.

AgentX, I love snow. I can handle cold all day long. It's the 108 degrees for a month and a half straight with 90% humidity that gets me down. That and the pall of choking smog that settles over the area year round, coloring the sky a greenish gray like the air in a bad cyberpunk novel.
It's fun to play games, but as much as I would miss all my friends here, I would hate to see how bad Dallas and Fort Worth can get in the next ten years. I hope to only hear about it in the news by then.

Well if that's how you feel about it, then yeah, you definitely need to get out of there!
Wow, I had no idea Dallas was such an urban nightmare! When I think of Texas I guess I think of sunny blue skies over a wide open range. Yes, I am totally ignorant of the state. All I know about Dallas is what I've seen in Kennedy assassination documentaries.

I was watching about that scenario on history channel the other day.

Parduz, what exactly do you think of the fact that you live in the city with the same name that we use for mortadella?
That's 'cause mortadella is a Bologna "genuine product" as Parmiggiano-Reggiano is a "genuine product" of Parma and ReggioEmilia.
Modena (50km from Bologna) it's also a great mortadella producer, but the "Original" one comes from here :)

Guys, the common "feeling" i have for you all USA ppl is that you're plenty of room for anything you want. As i like more nature than human artifact, i'm dreaming about a loooooong travel in your continent.
I always dreamed to go in Canada, rent a motorcycle, make a tour around the big lakes, then going down in USA, touching some good places until the Mexico.
It will remains a dream.....

If you do get to the States, think of all the people you could stay with as you travel. You'd be welcome at our house.
