According to Amazon.com Marvel Heroes Heroscape - Marvel Legions Edition (http://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Heroes-Heroscape-Legions/dp/B000M5JOYG/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/103-4084543-7331860?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1177430294&sr=8-1) will be releasing soon. It also says it will be sold by Target.

FOUR MORE DAYS! FOUR MORE DAYS FOUR MORE DAYS!
:|
Though I'm not going to be disappointed if their info is incorrect. The original date Marvel was pushed back to was April... and then we heard it pushed even further back to June'ish.
So, I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Yea, I just saw that also. I'll swing by Target this weekend just in case. Worse things happens is they don't have it and I accidentally buy some more Scape.

Hmmm A guy at BGG said he pre-ordered from Barnes and Noble and they said that his order would be shipped this Saturday. Still kind of shady.
Still exciting news, but my hopes aren't up.

Wow... do you know if this confirmation was sent to him in email form? Or did he talk with a CSR? If only email, it would have most likely been an auto-response with preset info about the pre-order. Thus, if B&N have their Marvel info wrong, then this error would be in the pre-order confirmation email, as well.

I checked my Amazon.com pre-order and it says:
Delivery estimate: June 5, 2007 - June 7, 2007 1 of: Marvel Heroes Heroscape - Marvel Legions Edition
Sold by: Target

The 28th being a Saturday makes this appear extremely unlikely. Not to mention that Sandra from HMG hasn't mentioned it.

I think I'll drop by the local Heroscape peddlers and see what they have next Monday. They typically stock on Sunday night/Monday morning around here. Since it's an entirely new SKU, if it comes out in the next week there's a reasonable chance.
BUT I'm not holding my breath.

Judging by the actual size display, I still can't believe the Hulk is still only Medium.

Agreed, it looks like there's about 2 spaces difference between his height and Spidey's ... unless Spidey is a medium 4 and Hulk is a medium 6?? But medium 5 seems to be pretty much the standard. Don't see why Spidey would be smaller.
Maybe Hulk's an unprecendented Medium 7?? The single base making him this way.
I think, probably, they just didn't want to introduce double base movement into what they intend on having be a wider market game ...

For us, hopefully we will find out in a couple of days. 8)
Also I don't know... Jumping punch special? ummm ok. I mean perhaps it will be a lot more handy than it sounds. But right now, what a waste. Would of rather had a Stealth Leap.

I hope this is true. I'll be ordering it this weekend if so. If anyone managed to order it and receives it as soon as they claim on the website, be sure to post all the info ASAP so the rest of us know where to go.

Agreed.
I also left a message on BoardGameGeek.com for the individual who pre-ordered to mention if he receives any word of a later release, or if the set will be sent out as stated on B&N's website.

Considering how much flying there will probably be in the game, including Flying units with Range, the ability to attack units that have hopped up on the hill will probably be the only thing that keeps the Hulk from being COMPLETELY worthless.

Well I know this will be a big surprise but the B&N website now says "New - Out of Stock, A new copy is not available from Barnes & Noble.com at this time."
I also Pre-Ordered it yesterday figuring better safe then sorry. I recieved two E-Mails, one thanking me for my order and the other confirming that my order is supposed to ship April 28th.
I have'nt recieved any other emails today confirming or denying my ship date.
So the moral of the story is that it is probably some kind of date mistake on the website and it will probably ship in the June-July period like everyone else is saying.
I figure I'll give it till Monday afternoon to see if it actually ships or I get some E-Mail with a revised ship date before I cancel the order.
I keep everyone informed if anything changes.

Well, I got my "product delayed" email from Barnes and Noble. I've decided to let the order stand for now. Who knows, maybe they'll still deliver earlier than a brick and mortar store will stock.

Well, I also got my official E-Mail from B&N:
We regret to inform you that our supplier has changed the release date on the pre-ordered merchandise listed below. We expect to ship the item(s) soon and will send you an email when it is ready to leave our warehouse. If we cannot acquire the merchandise within 30 days, we will notify you by email.
I figure I'll give them the thirty days just in case.
But I do have one question though, in the past when were the usual times Hasbro would release new Waves or Expansions? From what I've seen and from what I've read in other Threads, new Toys and Games tend to be released early Summer and around Christmas time. So a June-July release would be normal as far as Hasbro is concerned.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Ninthdoc's front page article is right on the money.
While I have'nt recieved an E-Mail yet, when I checked my pre-order on Barnes & Noble's web site it says that the expected shipdate of my order is May 28. So hopefully there will be some Marvel Heroscape goodness by the end of the month.

If they want to cash in on the Spider Man 3 craze, they should release it soon. I went to TRU yesterday and the placed is jam-packed with Spider Man merchandise.

Silly Heroscapers, Trix are for kids and dates for releases on HS stuff is never accurate. Wal*Mart was even fooled and had labels up for weeks before they were taken down.
We are like Lucy with the football and Charlie Brown just can't stop kicking it. I for one expect sometime in June.
If I'm wrong, please throw tomatoes.

a heroscape spin of?
strange that there is no word marvelscape. only heroscape (the battel of al times) why why not clas of the superheros. onlay a small text near the logo "marvel" i saw toys with this logo too. but this is heroscape marvel
a hero scape with some figures from spiderman 3 , that green hulk, and that dr. from f4 and the upcommig ironman?
that is marvelscape and not an heroscape expansion.
waht a kind of game is that ? damm you need heroscape for road, castel trees and so)
wait marvel heros beat in the grassland? what is that, sure the ms has new terrain(beton, new rodtiles and modern ruins) but if i buy a second set i got the heros doubbel(bizzoro world ok)
but i think the strong of this game are the waves (500 heros wait for entery) and maybe some large expansions skyscrapers will be cool, .
in other way the f4 bet up dr. doom with doom bots , like marvel alliance .
so i hope we can expect cool writing senarios , a bonus book in all wave packs could be cool.
i hope on gencon wee see wave 1 for ms.

Yeah, but what does your Spidey-sense tell you?
My spidey-sense tells me that May 28 seems like a very feasible release date. Though at this point, my spidey-sense may be skewed by the fact that I just really want some new product to hit the shelves ASAP. Regardless, I'll be surprised if this current release date doesn't hold true.
