So my friend and I were bored and decided to play a 500 point themed general game.
My army (ullar)
Morosbane
Jotun
WoA
Venoc Warlord (just for the heck of it.
His army (utgar)
Taelord
Minions of Utgar
Ne-Gok-Sa
Krug
So he rolls initiative and advances the minions. Jotun runs across the feild, wild swings at one, and rolls four skulls, effectively taking down two minions. then Krug runs up to jotun ad engages him, doing a total of...0 damage! Jotun disengages from krug and kills the last of the minions, making him lose an order marker. Next turn, I win initative and engage krug with two WoA (one couldn't make it) damaging him once. Krug attacks, and my first defense roll whiffs. dang. I move with the WoA, engaging krug with both but not hurting him. His turn, he advances taelord to put krug in the aura. I manuver jotun to attack taelord on the next turn, but he moves ne-gok-sa in the way. next turn, I win initiative again and attack ne-gok sa, rolling ONE skull. This my friends, was the beginning of misfortune. Next turn, he moves to attack with Ne-Gok-Sa,
AND ROLLS A 20 FOR MINDSHACKLE!
this was the second misfortune. I then attacked with the WoA, and gave Krug 1 wound. He goes with krug, and I whiff both defense rolls. third misfortune. Then taelord advanced again.
Now comes a breif moment of sunshine. I rolled to negate krug, and also rolled a 20. Whoop-de-fricken-do. After that, it was game over. The venoc warlord killed Tae-tae, but eventually, they all died.
That game really sucked. Point: when gokkie works, he works big time.
