First off, grab the Krav Maga Agents. Then how about: Carr, the Izumi Samurai, the Tarn Vikings and Raelin. Or skip the last two and substitute the Airborne Elite.

You'd be hard-pressed to go wrong with some combo of the Airborne Elite, Sgt. Drake, Krav Maga or the Izumi Samurai.

I used The Suprisingly Tart Heroscape Draft Wizard and did 3 Armies of 400 each, containing only MS figures. Check them out, they don't seem too bad.

Agent Carr
Tarn Viking Warriors

I didn't even mention the Marros in my other post. There's a great cheap ranged squad with 4 figs. Grab high ground with 3 of them and leave 1 standing in the water someplace safe in the rear of your army. Let it clone to it's little heart's content! I know a lot of folks dislike the Vikings, but Master Set-wise, they deliver a lot of combat ability, stay alive pretty well, and if you can roll a d20 well, can cover ground very rapidly. They're good glyph-guarders, or a unit to eliminate the KM.

that above army would be what won me that last game; 3way FFA against you and Ninthdoc, Rodiquez. :-D

Well if you get Krav Maga agents be sure to get Finn or Thorgrim, or get both, be sure to send them out first to get killed, so their spirit aura thing goes into affect, maybe add Raelin, this way if your opponent uses distance it will be darn near impossible to hit them. :horsepoo:

Drake, Kravs, Marrow, and the izumi are a must for me

Can I ask a total n00b question? Since we got our second MS, there's the prospect of using two of the same common in one army. So. Are they considered the same unit for the purposes of movement markers? In other words, if I'm moving four figures in a single turn with one MS, am I moving all eight (or more, if I've got, say, six MSs) in the same turn? I know, I know, that's probably a VERY basic question, but as much reading as I've done, I haven't seen it in a FAQ (or I don't remember seeing it, rather).

You can only have one of each "unique" hero or squad in your army; all the units in the Master Set are uniques, so you're not allowed to draft a duplicate of something you've already picked.

Oops. Didn't realize that - thanks for the clarification. Okay, what about commons?
