Yeah, I saw this too back in Feb. at my local WW.
I was also surprised at the price.
I'm wondering if the PRICE of shipping stuff is the reason for the sudden delay of the entire line for this year??

Perhaps the rapidly rising cost of fuel, is going to be factored into the price of the merchandise when it actually does hit the shelves.

I'm assuming that the price hike at TRU on the MS ($42.99) is because of rising shipping costs.

I'm glad I managed to get 3 MS before the price jumped.
(I only started getting into HS last Oct 06)

I saw a similar tag at a K-Mart just this last weekend. The price was $34.99 I believe. The shelf space was empty.

I saw this the first week of Janurary at my Wally world. So I went back every day for three days and they hadn't put it out and on the fourth day, they had finally emptied the store room and told me that it wasn't coming out yet.

I just got back from a Wave 6 hunting expedition.
No luck with the Wave 6 yet, but I did see a shelf tag for
Heroscape Marvel Legends with a price of 24.74.

Shouldn't be too much longer before I have that Krug v. Hulk throwdown. 8)

Wasn't the price estimated at Comic Con for this set to be $29.99? Why would folks be surprised that Wal-Mart has it listed for about $5 less? They're friggin' Wal-Mart! It's what they do!

Hey gang,
I was at my local WW again today (SAT 3/17/07) and this sticker is back on the shelf next to the HS Master Set's...
It's got a new date on it too... 03/27/07 (I don't have a camera-phone, sorry for re-using the previous pic.)

So it was gone for about three weeks after it's original appearance.

I decided to inquire with the lady in the toy dept & she said that they usually get the items for new shelf price tags within two weeks of the actual tags.

Perhaps the MARVEL Set is going to hit in the last week of March & the first week of April??

Seems about right to me cause toy sales do increase just before Easter.

I worked in a toy store for 4 years back in the '90s and we always got larger stock deliveries a few weeks before Easter.
It' wasn't as big as Xmas time, but our sales did increase.

A lot of folks buy toys to put in kid's Easter Baskets, instead of huge amounts of candy now-a-days.

I've worked in/around retail for many years.

Too not have this game ready by the time Spidey 3 opens is flat out stupid.

Of course there are several other Marvel movies on the horizon, but this is Spidey, the flagship. :?

in germanny they said the same marvelscape will come iff spinderman 3 starts.
but i think it is 50:50
hasbro eu is different from the us markt.
spiderman 3 is a gerat support for the game(hs was a flop)

other
they delay it so often,
may or r june is no great difference.
