Hey all, just thought I would share some of the nifty rules that me and my sister have added to spice things up. Here is our rules "cheatsheet" Some of these rules are from the official rules as I have taken a lot of the ability descriptions off of my custom cards to make room for custimization. Some of these rules are from other posts, thanks to you guys (you know who you are) This is our personal ruleset we follow. Some of these rules we just thought would be neat so we implement them. You will notice a lot of rolling 1s and 20's in this. WE are veteran D&D gamers and dungeon masters. and as a rule we have always rewarded rolling a natural 20 and sorely ( heh heh ) punished rolling a natural 1 on 1d20 rolls. We do a lot of this with unit abilities. Just wanted to know what others thought of some of them. We are having a blast with all this new stuff. Any ideas on how to make these rules better let me know. OUr personal favorite is the Scale ability becdause we thought Ninjas should be able to scale the side of a tower. This is what makes this game so awesome. Enjoy.

Some of those seem a bit too complicated or unnecessary for 'scape IMO, but it's always cool to see others' House Rules. I hope to get up a compiled list of mine sometime too.

I'm gonna use some of those rules. Like the cover rules and pushing, jumping, knock back and the behind attack.

Nice Rules
Very Realistic

When we first purchased HS we made a ton of house rules to make it "better"...over time however I have come to appreciate the simplicity and elegance of the official rules. Also, it makes it easier when you get together in play groups with other people.

Of all the house rules I have seen on the boards, the one that I feel really needs to officially make it into the game is the "partial cover" rule.

Yours is exactly like the one we use. Of course, seeing 50% of the figure is a relative assessment so that's probably why they left it out.

Not bad it does add some complexity to it. Which some people like some people don't.
