Anyone here play Unreal Tournament 2004? It's a fun, gorey game! The demo has everything you need to play(full version's better though...)
And UT2007 looks awesome. :D

I used to play this game like a fiend. Best multi-player fps ever. Never got enough credit cause games like Half-Life, Doom, and Quake dominated the fps scene. I still play it, although those guys who play online are very die-hard, so sometimes I just play tons of bots.


EDIT: By the way. I was always a Flak Monkey when I played that game. I loved that gone. It just chunks everyone who gets in your way.

I played the first UT endlessly, but the updated ones turned me off. Porqué? I played the first one quite a bit too, and I found 2004 better in almost every aspect. Was it the inclusion of all the different races?

The one I played (Championship) was fast, fluid and clear. The 2004 one was a muddied mess.

Right... it was the 2003 one I hated. Couldn't tell what the hell was going on. Hated it hated it hated it. I'll admit the graphics were purty, but gameplay was horrible. I never tried 2004, so I can't speak to it.

I love UT2K4. I used to be pretty good, but I haven't played in a while. And I gotta agree, Flak is the way to go...especially when you run along above someone, jump down on top of them, and squeeze the trigger point blank down through their skull, landing in a splatter of blood & gore :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

I love those guns. I was a pretty good sniper shot with the Lightning Gun too.

I love those guns. I was a pretty good sniper shot with the Lightning Gun too.I always preferred the sniper rifle to the lightning gun. Just personal taste.

Also, the thing I didn't like about 2K4 vs the original was they took away the enforcers as the starting weapon. I would run around and kick arse weilding duals of those :P Also, I have a pair of Storm dart guns that I got because they looked like the Enforcers. Now all I need is the right green paint...

I just reinstalled the game. My user id is chezious.

You have to go to www.unrealtournament.com to get the latest patch.

Its the 3396 patch. Its about 13mb.
