I have been fantasizing about having a home version of the Arcade Golden Axe 2. Sob, alas it hasn't happened. Anyone know a good way to get that game at home?

Is it safe from viruses? I just recently lost my computer to a virus and am jittery. But I will definietly try it if your reccomend it. Thanks!

its in my machine.im running windows xp home and no problems here.
the only thing is the video is not displayed right in golden ax 2 something is wrong with the layers so when a little blue magic bottle is dropped it looks like its floating stuff like that. but other than that its fine.here is a screen shot of it running on my pc.

you shouldn't have any problems with it.if you download it extract it to a folder in your documents and run it from there and make sure you download the games into the mame/rom folder.oh yeah the games do not have to be unzipped just saved in the folder.

I loved this game. I spent so many quarters at my local arcade on this one. The first game was the best. I even downloaded an emulator awhile back and played it again on my comp. Very fun. I loved kicking those little elves/gnomes to get potions.

A new Golden Axe is lined up for release on 360 and ps3 for next year. FYI.

Does anyone remember the way to get a free game on Golden Axe arcade. I remember a guy showed me years ago, and no matter what machine I tried it on it ALWAYS worked. The code had something to do with a specific moment on the demo/title screen, then you pushed up and attack, or something like that. :?: Anyone else remeber this :?:

I have it on the Sega. It was a great game. My 2 sons beat the game last year. They were 2 and 4 years old and now they are 3 and 5. I don't know of any cheat codes or anything like that other then setting your life up to 5 bubs.
