I just have one question...

How in Sam Hill did Edmonton, the #8 seed in the West, takedown Detroit (the best hockey team this year), San Jose, and Anaheim?

I'm going for the Oilers, but there are some great names on the Hurricanes roster that deserve to be on the Stanley cup so, if they win I will not be upset. I just hope it goes 7 games.

What an amazing game, last night, with Carolina coming back from a 3 to 0 goal start. I thought, for the first two periods, that Edmonton had a lock on the Cup. That third period changed my mind completely.

But, next year it is "Go STARS!"

I can't believe that Carolina had a 3-1 series lead, having the knife level with Edmonton's throat, yet they have failed to deliver the finishing strike TWICE. Now they have to win in Raleigh or else Edmonton will deliver the final blow to them and Edmonton will be victorious.

I can't believe this has come down to a game 7....the Canes have really let this go. I am still hoping they can get it done.

I can't believe this has come down to a game 7....the Canes have really let this go. I am still hoping they can get it done.

.Well in the Phoenix Suns' run in the NBA playoffs this year they won two Game 7's. Maybe the 'canes need some PHX magic (puts lucky Suns hat with dog tags and eyeglasses inside on EyeOfSauron and covers Suns' logos with Hurricanes logo).

Yep, the Carolina Hurricanes used to be the Hartford Whalers. The Phoenix Coyotes were formerly the Winnepeg Jets, and the Colorado Avalanche were once the Quebec Nordiques.

Carolina up 2-0 with only ONE MORE PERIOD TO GO!
