I'm weird when it comes to first person shooters. I enjoy completing the campaign before the online experience. I've only recently played COD2 online, after I beat the game on veteran. I have yet to play GoW on Live yet. I guess I want to discover all the little secrets while I'm going through the game and not beforehand. I guess you can call the campaign my training for XBox Live.

I'm also trying to dedicate my time to completing the Old Spice Challenge, before the contest ends. I'm only in level 1, but I'm having fun getting the 1,500 achievement points I need to get bumped up to the next level. That pretty much taps me out on gaming for the week.

I'm interested in hearing your reports though. I can't wait for November. Halo 3 will probably be my next purchase. I have Oblivion to keep me busy until then. :D

i bought crackdown and i don't think i'm going to download the halo3 demo i hate demos.

if you don't have crackdown go get it! some of the best fun you'll ever have.

Crackdown is hilariously fun! I bought it for the Halo 3 Beta, and was pleasantly surprised to find a great game along with the beta invite.

Now that my skills are nearly all maxed out, here's a couple things I love to do:

-Get the agency truck cab and drive in a big circle or down the freeway as fast as possible, annihilating everything in my path.
-Stick a limpet charge to a npc's car, wait until they drive into a crowded intersection, and explode them!
-Toss cars into a big pile (preferably on top of a building) and then explode them!
-Stand in the middle of the freeway and play chicken with the cars coming my way, only to shoot out their tires at the last second.
-Climb stuff. The sense of vertigo is surprisingly powerful.

I've yet to play any co-op. I'll look you guys up on Live next time I play.
