With a samari on the defence glyphe on Forsaken waters. Juton was attacking from the water and wished to use his throw attack. It worked. Now if he places the samari on the ground one lvl lower then the samari was on but higher then the base of Juton does the samari take the fall damage if a 11 or higher is roled on a 20 sided die.

in otherwords below where it says the hight of Jotun does that mean which of the following:

The lvl that Juton is on
Lvl 11
Lvl 11 plus the hight of the lvl Juton is on

Throw 14
After moving and before attacking, choose one small or medium non-flying figure adjacent to Jotun. Roll the 20-sided die. if you roll a 14 or higher, you may throw the figure by placing it on any empty space within 4 spaces of Jotun. The figure must land within clear sight of Jotun. After the figure is placed, roll the 20-sided die for throwing damage. If you roll an 11 or higher, the thrown figure receives 2 wounds. If the figure is thrown onto a level higher than the height of Jotun or onto water, do not roll for throwing damage. The thrown figure does not take any leaving engagement attacks.

The way it was explained to me when I asked (sorry, I'm at work on my lunch break and don't have the email) is that Jotun is throwing granny style. It counts from the top of his head, where he lets go, not from his base.

That's why it has the awkward higher than the height of Jotun instead of higher than Jotun's base, which is easier to follow.

If the figure is thrown onto a level higher than the height of Jotun or onto water, do not roll for throwing damage.

It's alright to resurrect a thread if you have a reason. OTOH, this now banned gentleman did it to stir something up. Mission accomplished.

Thank you GrungeBob,I hate people who break the rules like that. I think we should just lock this thread so it doesn't become a playground for unwanted information! The question was answered and their is no need to have something that clutters the front page.

P.S is their a way to keep Banned members banned!

You know those Terms and Agreements contract you stated you read when you first made the account? Those are what state it! Next time actually read what you sign, by putting that check under the box you stated you knew what it meant!

This is the first time I've actually seen this happen while I've been a member. It's really, really stupid, and people SHOULD be banned for making two accounts, and thankfully, it's rare. The sad thing is that this guy didn't even read the Terms and Agreements...

You are right, I didn't read the rules. I am sorry and ask for your apologies. I shouldn't have resurrected this thread.

If you resurrected this thread because you had a question about Jotun's Throw, that wasn't covered in this thread, then YES you should have resurrected this thread.

Since You resurrected it for the express reasons of either getting attention or boosting your post count then NO, you should not have.

For reasons that might not make sense to your adolescent mind, most people don't like random no point thoughts. They only waist our time, and in this world many of us don't have much free time to spare. You waist that precious little bit of rest and relaxation that we have, we get irritable and cranky.

Then we vent it out in posts like this where we express our contempt towards the youth of the human race. We then forget about all the nice, cool, respectable kids like johnny139 and pretty much end up hating kids as a whole. So please, in the future, think. Think about what your posting because it not only diminishes our faith in your own character, but it reflects poorly against your peers.

OK, two points.

1) I never read the rules when I sign up for a new site. They're boring and usually just CYA stuff for the site.

2) I would have to be functionally retarded to think it was OK to make a new account right after I got banned from my old one.
