There are a couple of people here from GA, and the Atlanta area, but generally about an hour away (at least) from eachother.

We're about 20 minutes south of the city on the border of Stockbridge/Jonesboro.

Hey guys!

Krug, Duluth is way out there to the NorthEast, closer to I-85. I was wondering if there were people in this area. Some of us, due to Mokeyfish's leadership, had met at the HobbyTown USA in Kennesaw. That is on Barrett Parkway, just off I-75.

If any of you guys are willing to come up around that area, maybe you can pop in to the next get-together. Seemed too far to me, but perhaps not to you. No intention to exclude; I am trying to make things convenient for a specific geography.

I'm making progress on my basement remodel. If there are some in close proximity to Acworth, I might be willing to host over here sometime.

Monkeyfish: you setting something up in March over at HobbyTown?

I have a couple friends that live in the Kenessaw area. If known enough in advanced we could get together for a gameday there. That sounds like it could be a ton of fun.

GA needs a larger presentation here on HS, one that can someday rival those DFW dudes/dudettes and that might just be the way to get it going. We could make sure that everyone signs up on heroscapers or something.

If you guys are on facebook (you should be) then we can make an event on there to keep it all orgazined etc.

EDIT: Also I just noticed this website has an event thingy that we could use if you guys are not on facebook yet.

OK, so MonkeyFish has got us set up for 1:00PM on Saturday, March 10 at HobbyTown USA in Kennesaw.

We had a small turnout for the first get-together, so hopefully we'll be able to bring more people around and get the ball rolling out in this area.

I totally agree that we should try to direct other 'Scapers over to this website. I know there may be a lot of other ways to keep in touch, but we could easily use heroscapers.com as a central gathering place. Like others have said, I know that someone is buying all the HeroScape store off my local Wal-Mart's shelves!

We may also consider hosting an informative meeting at HobbyTown to introduce people who are interested in HeroScape. That would allow us to sit some newcomers down and play a few games with them. I'm sure HobbyTown would be happy to have an influx of new HS sales.

I've been trying to get a few of my classmates to come, but most of them have plans. However, my little sister's friend's father seemed interested in Heroscape when he came to pick up his dogs after they had gotten out and my mom and I caught them.
