I don't normally shop there, because they are evil, but I will to support my Heroscape habit.

So I cruise down to the clearance aisle and see they have Raknar's Vision for $15 and various expansions & RTTFF without stickers.

The only expansion I was interested in was another Minutemen & Wolves. How much does it cost, I ask the man.

He zaps it with his machine. $9.22.

I go to the Heroscape stuff that's not in clearance. Boosters, of which they have none, are $9.22. I go back to ask about what 'clearance' actually means. Well, I'm told, we put them there, but we haven't lowered the prices yet.

I picked some up from target before the new year, THEY ROCK!!! and only 9.95 :D

The MM are the one expansion I've been dying to get. Not only are they cool in the game, but I am a Revolutionary War buff too. I just don't feel like ordering them online and paying S&H. Hopefully my patience survives until WallyWorld restocks.

Last time I was at K-Mart, all they had was wave 4. Might want to check there if you have one. Not saying that all K-Marts have the same stock.

Nope. My only hope up here is Walmart, which has only had Wave6, but now has had nothing for the past 3 days. Back home I have Wally and Target. There used to be KMarts both places, but they both went out of business back in the day...

Lately IF I have seen a non wave 4 and 5 it has been 4th mass. I've passed on at least 2 in the past week

I don't think Wal-Mart did anything wrong in this case. Just because the items had been moved to the clearance aisle doesn't mean the price had been lowered yet. I've seen that happen before. It's like step one is just to move the thing over there to get it out of the regular aisle and then step two is slowly lowering the price little by little until someone finally buys it. So long as there wasn't a shelf sticker or a price tag on the item saying it was selling for less than the price you paid, I don't see why you'd be upset. If you assumed it was on sale and found out it wasn't at the register, there's nothing to stop you from putting it back. :shrug:

The part of the story I left out is that, over a week earlier, I was in there *also*, dragging KidScaper to look for HeroScape stuff. Yes I am that sick. Anyway they had the Minutemen then too, only one on the shelf. So I put it in the cart, which we promptly lost elsewhere in the store, so I couldn't get them then. My point being, they have had MM on the clearance aisle for over a week and a half.

Plus, it's W@#Mart, which means they *always* did something wrong, in *every* case. If you are curious, the way I justify it to myself is, I am supporting a terrific hobby and the fine people who design and draft the game & its pieces, so I will compromise my dignity and go in. :P

I'm annoyed because that's 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back, including the 10 I spent fiddling around trying to figure out what the sale price was. Perhaps I should have told the whole story the first time. . . Anyway it was typical of their shady business practices. Heck if I go back, even for Heroscape stuff. Probably. :)

All I have to say is that if your Wally World has HeroScape Boosters at a regular price of $9.22, when the rest of the country is at $9.92 for boosters in Wally World. You really, really need to get your panties out of a bunch. And, be glad you don't have to pay non-US prices to feed your addiction! You come across as bitchin' that your Dom Perignon didn't come in a Waterford Crystal Champagne Glass.

Thanks to all the discussions about where to buy heroscape especially pertaining to the mystery "clearance" aisle at Target and Walmart, I was lucky enough to find RTTF and Orms Return at a Walmart in the clearance section. I had no idea these aisles existed, though I've yet to find a target that has them. I had been looking for the RTTF every where and no one has it. I got them for a little more than half off...I just wish i'd gotten in on the under $10 castle expansion set.
