Sandra w/House Mouse Games said that Wave 5 is due out in June (it was originally scheduled for May). The Castles had originally been scheduled for June. Personally, I'll be the Castles make their debut at GenCon - this is just my speculation.

I'll tell you tundra was just an appetizer for me, I really want those castles, i have grand visions of some of the maps I want to make. Big castles, multiple castles, ruined castles, :lol: OH boy oh boy oh boy I can't wait.

Just pick up some mage knight castle you can get it dirt cheap. Ive got some ordered I cant wait till it gets here.

i didnt think wave 5 was due out until july ish. didnt someone mention at HQ that the castels were due in may not june? any word from hasbro on this issue?


i, personally, and going to get a minimum of 2 castle sets. then i'll get some raknars vision, then some tundra (probably only 1 or 2)

But back on topic: According to the "latest" from my Hasbro rep, we're looking at early July for Thora's Vengeance.

(And I'm not trying to copy Fallen Templar with the HUGE Avitar; I just don't know how to size it smaller)

Wow, nice to see you cbs42...I remember that avatar from the .net days. Hope to see more of you here than on HQ. (That goes for bunjee, elstree, noodles, reaper, and EXO too)

Also, nice to see that Sandra has migrated here. Because she is in contact with the source (and lives near the CA receiving port), she is *the* authority on when waves will be released (IMHO).

Looks like my Thora's pre-order through HouseMouse will arrive about two months from now. (Fingers crossed)

I was at two stores today that had a FULL compliment of Orm's & RTTFF. I'm guessing the Tundra doesn't hit until June. Pushing everything else back. Which makes me wonder if we'll get any new(er) product introduced until Gencon. Wave 6:"The Shelf" part 2 anyone? :wink:

SPCAT06, the code everyone wants to use to save $$$ on 2 or more castle purchases, really means: Shipping Plastic Castles Around Thanksgiving 2006

Or with the releases of ZD, RV, TT and the Fortress it could mean: 'Scapers Probably Can't Afford Thora's in 2006.

Okay...I'm honestly surprised and a bit worried now that we have no info on Thora's Vengeance other than a rough release date.

By this point with other waves we had most, if not all, of the info....we knew about Zanafor's sometime around Christmas, with Raknar's info follwing not long after. We knew all about Jandar's way back in the late summer of '05. And so on. Could this lack of info mean the wave is being delayed? Or is Hasbro really being this tight with information?

Further, what does it benefit Hasbro to be so tight lipped? Wouldn't it benefit them greatly to "tease" upcoming waves early on? Isn't that why they showed Thora's at Toyfair? Why not tease it on the website as well? Why withhold info? Other games like Magic and Heroclix post previews months in advance of the release.....

It could be Hasbro being more tight lipped about upcoming releasing. Avalon Hill has been quiet about releases for later in the year while last year we knew what was coming out all year by March. Maybe it's some new policy.

They could show how to build the castle... also would be NICE to have bios for the new guys.. of course be nice to have the new guys in stores.
