Heh hehheheheh. . . .

Ok, so this is Valhalla, norse land for noble warriors to fight for all eternity. All types of fantasy stuff, nix for modern or sci-fi since the land only draws in people and not vehicles.

Until the 1940's invisibility experiment. . . .

A fully crewed and stocked U.S. Battleship vanishes from earth never to be seen again.

Where did it go?

Valhalla

Expansion set includes 40 water tiles, Battleship, 4 crew members.

"Modern" weapons and vehicles on board.

Roswell. . . .

An Alien space craft doesn't crash, but is attacked by US planes, a rupture in the ship's warp core causes a dimensional rift thereby transporting the ship and its crew to Valhalla. Space tech in the norseland now.

Expansion set comes with alien vessel, 4 Greys, and 40 swamp tiles.

Other scenerios pending. . .

The problem of power creep. "A fully crewed and stocked U.S. Battleship"; if it could fit on the battlefield, it's firepower would make every existing figure obsolete.

As for the spaceship in Roswell, it is still there guarded by the U.S. gov't, so it could not possibly have warped to Valhalla.

But because of the Phildelphia project, the ship has shrunk. It now covers only 6 hexes.
