I loved TMNT growing up. Had all kinds of the toys. Can't wait to see this. :)

I love that it looks to be more of an Eastman and Laird, and not a Disney styled movie,

I actually laughed out loud at some parts. Corey Feldman should so the voice of Donatello again.

I was ok with it, until I saw the baddies. Why couldn't they stick with a dark Shredder and his foot clan?

I saw the trailer for this when I took my son to see Night at the Museum. He had no interest.

I missed the TMNT craze due to puberty. I probably won't see this one.

I saw the midnight preview last night. It was decently funny, and the fight scenes were pretty cool. The movie kind of reminded me of The Incredibles, and when some of you see it you will see why. Still though... 300 > TMNT

You never know man, I saw some pretty wacked out TMNT fans that would kill you if you said "300 > TMNT" to them....

GB, don't be immature. If you have to ick on someone younger than you to make yourself feel good then grow up.

:brickwall: Effin' Drama...

I will simply cut and paste my MySpace Review of this movie.

The new TMNT movie... will it rock? YES!

So I missed the 12:10 showing, because of family issues, but got to see it at 2:25.

How do I put this...

Fan-f*cking-tastic. :D

Oh yeah, it's that good.

Here are some of the reasons why, without giving anything away.

1. CGI
CGI works great for this movie because it allowed them to do things that they couldn't do as guys running around in rubber suits. Sure the fights in the older movies were good, but these are phenomenal. They're quicker and more agile than they could ever be as people. Splinter actually gets to move like a normal mutant rat would as apposed to a puppet with someones hand up his butt.

2. Casey Jones
Casey Jones was awesome in the movies, but he had a more limited role in them, especially in three, and he wasn't even in two. In this, he's great, he cracks jokes fights crime, and helps out every time he's around.

3. April O'neil.
Finally ditching the reporter role they shoved her all those years ago, and actually putting her in the story as more than just some weird love interest for the turtles, she's more like a sister to the brothers. Sarah Michelle Gellar while maybe not my favorite actress, does a good job voicing her.

4. Subplot
Although this in my opinion is the real point of the movie, the story between Raph and Leo is excellent, and adds a great deal of depth to these characters.

5. Fight Scenes.
There were plenty, and I mean plenty, and thank goodness they weren't just there to make the movie seem exciting. They all made sense in the plot and really helped move the story along.

The only real complaint I have, and it isn't even a big one, is that Donatello and Michaelangelo aren't in it as much as Raph and Leo, they're there a lot but their characters take kind of a back seat to the subplot of course.

As far as the story it's great, better than I expected actually.

While some may say it lacks the adult hidden humor from the Incredibles and Shrek, I still think it has plenty to offer fans of the cartoon show. Since I can't distance myself enough, I don't know how people who weren't fans of the cartoon show will relate. But I will say, they didn't butcher our beloved turtles if anything, they made them even better.

Just saw it and I agree fully with MG's review. Excellent!!

My only complaints is when Leodardo took those cool swords and sheathed them instead of actually using them. And the fact that the turtles could beat the stone warriors so easily when they could not beat the monsters that the stone warriors beat so easily.

My seven year old's karate school did a demo before the opening. Lil BP was a Bo Staff guy. We got free passes to the movie too. It wasn't 1/2 bad. Lil BP loved it and told me I need to buy the DVD.
