Don't judge a map by it's cover, read the scenario!

[edit] I've sucessfully extracted this zip with windows "compressed folder" utility and 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org).
Not that I'd tell you what software to use, but 7-zip really is the best decompression utility out there.

Shakey,
From my first look at your map, I like it! Non symmetrical, and it brings armies into each other - that's my kind of map.

This looks great.
I often have 3 players and have a tough time creating a game.
I will definately be playing this one.
Thanks for sharing.

Its maps like these that make me want to buy more master sets. I really like the rules you wrote for how Raelin follows her rescuer.
Great job

JH,
Fireline Island is a "one each" map because you requested some.

Hi shakey_snake,
now i could check both maps, interesting scenario ideas in there! http://home.arcor.de/fellechner/smilies/jo.gif
Magma Mountain: Upsidedown 3 hextile as boat, nice idea. Where'd you get that ? http://home.arcor.de/fellechner/smilies/megagrins.gif
Firleline Island: Who rolls mimring´s attack? If you rolled "right" for example with the d20, which of both possible firelines on mimring´s right side do you mean?
Bye, Chicano.

Bye, Chicano.Either player rolls attack, it doesn't matter.
We've always played that mimring firelines down both hexes when attacking either side. I guess we've been playing it wrong.
For the scenario, use both.

Yep. Mimring must have been ruling a lot with his double fireline...

ok, that´s an argument. You´re right, firing over 8 hexes or 16 should be pretty much the same. http://home.arcor.de/fellechner/smilies/ickwerd.gif =)

It makes a difference, just not that much of a one.
Mimring's opponent still isn't going to line up their pieces.

it just should be written in the scenario text as a special rule.
Smart use of tiles imo, shakey_snake and some nice ideas to gain high levels. To make such a map with so limited amount of sets is quite difficult, good job.
Looks a bit like a formula 1 race track, i like the extravagant shape of this map. :D
Bye, Chicano.

I just took a look at the solidscape of magma mountain. Nice work. I really like the lava fields on top of the 24 hex "plateau".
