Anyone want to exchange FF3 emails? Sending and receiving 7 unlocks all the extra content.

I'm 3961-3456-6921-8000.

Are you still playing this game Mr. Bistro? If so let me know as I have no friends but would very much like some :(

Lemme figure out my # and I'll happily exchange with you. I started a while ago, but got caught up in Etrian Odyssey.

Thanks Aldin. I will try to figure mine out tonight as well.

Video games are much more complex now then when I played 15 years ago! Even the DS has more buttons than my thirty-three year old brain can figure out how to use in one game! Ans on-line friends to unlock special content. Who would have thunk it?

Ha! I've got you beat by a couple of years, mon ami.

~Aldin, who thinks Bistro's an old fogey also, too, as well

I have already unlocked the Onion Knight and everything, but I'd be glad to help. But the friend code you provided doesn't seem to match. Mine is a 12 digit code, not a 16, and I am only able to input 12 digits for my address book.

Mine is 0516-8601-0473

Also, speaking of Final Fantasy on DS, anyone else excited about the 3d remake of FFIV (http://www.ebgames.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?sku=180539) coming out next month? This will be my fourth copy of this game. There's the SNES version that came out here as FF2, the PSX remake, the GBA version, and now this.

Just further proof that I am so very much Squeenix's *****.

My number is 4554-7691-2962-6000 if I am doing things correctly. It definetely seems to be 16 digits long not 12.

Lots of old fogies on this site I sense Aldin. In age anyways - I think most of us are still overgrown children at heart. That's probably why my wife says she has three children to take care of, not two!

Now I see what you guys are doing (I think). That would be your Nintendo WiFi ID. You need to go into the game, talk to a Mog, and use the number in the address book (Display Friend Code).

What constitutes an old fogey around here, anyways? I just recently hit 30.

Oh, I realized that and became VERY angry that I bought the GBA version last February (STILL haven't gotten past the part where you get shipwrecked). Then I realized - Hey, I like to rename the characters, and dialogue would ruin that!

I named the monk Woo, for obvious reasons.

Thanks Neigel.

Someone who cannot figure out how to send messages to others in FFIII using their DS constitutes an old fogey! Also, someone who buys Heroscape but pretends it is for their children and/or gifts at Toys R Us also constitues an old fogey. Unfortunately, I fit both categories!

You are right about the friend code/Wi-Fi ID thing. My correct friend code is 0516-8601-0473. I will attempt to add you. Wish me luck!

Are you sure that is your code? It looks eerily like my own friend code posted above. Have you been sneaking into my house at night and in fact been using my DS?

I apologize. You are right again. I have written your friend code down as my own! Apparently I should not be allowed to operate technology as simple as a DS as I cannot even transcribe numbers correctly.

My CORRECT friend code is 0044-4137-0085 (I had written yours directly under my own).

Sorry you have to deal with such a tool!

They make this process so much more complicated than it needs to be. So, after you put in my friend code in the address book, you need to go to the moghouse option under the mognet menu and choose the faraway friend option. That should conect you to Nintendo Wi-Fi and register us as friends. Then you can go back into send mail and you should be able to send it.

Neigel:

If you are still around let me know and I will try to pop off a message tonight to start my quest for the silly onion knight job!
