I sent them an email - I'll post what ever I find out. I think I'm going to go to this convention to check it out - So if Heroscape will be there I'll have even more incentive.

28mm Heroscape. UT Gar has rebelled and is attacking city of Vahalla. Jandar is sending relief forces but must pass through The Forgotten Forest and Lava Pits. 5 vs. 5 players. Start time 8am Saturday and will progress all day Saturday till 8pm

Sounds interesting, that wierd spelling gives me pause though. I would much rather play some smaller battles on a gameday.

It would be nice to know just what will be going on at this event. Do they really want people to commit all day Saturday to it, or is it to be multiple events or what?

I was one of the people who ran that event. Unfortunately i was not the one who posted the notification on the strategicon web page. I apologize for my friend's atrocious spelling. It was a fun event. We had a great time and even got some people to buy the game and take up scaping. A good bit of that time was setting up the huge battlefield. The rest was all battle. We played 5 v. 5 I believe. It was a castle seige and if I remember correctly it was over 1200 points attacking at least. It was a fun battle.
