Hmm...
There´s something weird about Ne-Gok-Sa´s mind shackle power!!!
During the last month, I have looked in on the kids playing Heroscape at the club where I work, reminding them about the mindshackle power. Both times I did this it resulted in game winning rolls of 20, and curses for me from the loosers!!!
Then this week it happened agin, in a game were I was playing. we were down to the endgame, I had a single Krav Maga agent and the Izumi samurai left, and my opponent had Sgt. Drake Alexander and Ne-Gok-Sa. He was about to attack my samurai with N-G-S, when I reminded him to look at the card. He did, and rolled a 20, taking over the Samurai, effectively loosing me the game.
So it seems that the way to succeed with N-G-S´s mindshackle power is to forget it, and then have someone remind you!
Freaky!
Anyone with similar experiences?

Ummm, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't mindshackle only work on heroes?

I stand corrected. Thanks for not calling me mean names. That raises a question, if player 1 mindshackles an AE pre grenade throw does that AE unit get to throw a grenade, does he throw when the others throw, or what?

If you mindshackle a squad, you gain control of the whole squad. If the AE are shackled pre grenade, the new owner would decide when they throw their grenades and all would do it then.

Oh very cool, I did not know he could shackle squads, I though it was just heroes. Sometimes for being such a simple game things seem to get complex :P

Right, basically you get the card of the figure you mindshackle and everything that comes with it. It can only be uniques.

mindshackle,
all I can say is don't play Endpawn, he is the king of rolling 20's, he mindshackles all the time, he got my brohter twice in one game, bastard, at least he still lost the games, but it is so dishearting to have you guys mindshackled.
I don't use him a lot, but now with all the new sets the choice is so big he doesn't get picked as much as he use to, but that is still one of the coolest powers there is, right up there with water clone

Take home lesson, kids: Read the freaking' card! .
About eight years ago I was teaching "Basic Computer Literacy" for the Dept. of Labor here in Arkansas. The basic chorus of the class was: "Look at the screen. 90% of what you need to know is there. The other 10% is a click on from there. You do not really need a teacher. Read the screen!"
I'd say the same applies to the HS cards.
