So, to my delight I found Series 6 on the shelf at one of our local Wal-Marts (Kennewick, WA). Sorry for the pic, it was taken on my camera phone and enlarged.

There are 7 Walmarts & Targets between work and home, also there are 3 TRU ($13/pack feh), so I'll report back in a few hours with my findings. I've checked two Targets so far, with no luck. Oh btw, the stores mentioned are between SB & LA county line areas in So. Cal.

I was so happy to read that House Mouse will get her shipment tomorrow and will ship them out to Indiana first :wink: either tomorrow or Wednesday.

I only ordered two sets of wave 6 , but I also orderd some more Romans(x2), Aubriens and Greeks.

Now that I have these in my hands, I have to say that the colors just pop on everyone. Lots of use of silver, gold and copper metallic paints, and Kee-Mo-Shi's wand is tipped in a metallic green. Although the shades are the least complicated paint (double wash of teal and gray over the white plastic) I really like the sculpts.

Ok, enough yapping, I need to tidy up so I can stare at my new toys without distraction.

Well this is just great I was hoping for a late in the week release cause I got still got 3 days on the rig and wont hit land until late in the evening on thursday. Good thing id though I can hit every walmart from Galliano to Shreveport about 8 of them when I do get off. Hope I get a full set.

I don't think I'll be finding any at my local wal-mart for a long time. I went there last week and they had 8, yes 8, full sets of wave 5.

I'm going to have to check the one closest to home tomorrow. They didn't have any Sunday, so I'm guessing maybe a truck would be in today, on shelves late tonight. They had a tone of small packs on the shelf late last week, but throughout the weekend the numbers were dwindling. Probably down to about 3-4 full sets from at least 7 on Thursday last week.

Yeah, today I went to the wal-mart in Battle creek. That is a very long drive. I got ther, no wave 6, but two full sets of wave one. Overjoyed I went to buy them and realized I had left my wallet at home. an hour and a half away. I was mad.

I hear ya Zincdust. That's why I went ahead and ordered a bunch of stuff from HouseMouse for a Christmas present to me from my wife.
When she asked me what I wanted for Christmas the other day, I said, "I already ordered my presents from you and thanks by the way."
She's like, "So I get to wrap them and you have to wait 'til Christmas morning to open them, right?"

I stopped by Wal-Mart in central IL, and there was no wave 6 yet. But there were about 6 full sets of wave 5 just sitting on the shelves. I already have enough roborats and deathstalkers to keep me happy. (Didn't anyone tell these makers that Wave 5 has more uniques than any other wave ever made?).
Well, I'm worried they'll keep wave 6 in the back of the store until these wave 5s sell, but the way the shelf stocker looked at me while I was rifleing through the stacks and stack of wave 5 stuff looking for anythin new might make them think they'd better get the new stuff out there.
It was really pathetic, since the shelves were all practically bare from christmas shoppers. The wave 5 stuff is just collecting dust. (well I guess I could use a few more deathreavers . . .)

Agreed...It was killing me to be at work knowing that Wave 6 could be out there. And yet again...Nothing for my efforts...Except full wave 1 set.

Not to brag but I seriously think my addiction to heroscape has spread to unknowing customers.

Now that the semester has ended and I am unemployed (looking if anyone knows about a job :) ) Ive been reduced to checking every TRU, Wally World, Target and hobby store in the Greater Jackson MS metro area.

Well with the holliday shopping madness in full swing I've noticed alot of shelves being bare during peak shopping times.

The point: when I'm rifling through the heroscape section on a crowded isle I look like a madman searching for a pot of gold. Needless to say on more than one occasion I've seen a curious shopper pick up the heroscape boxes and raising an eyebrow.

If my foaming-mouthed madness-filled search for wave six has brought more people into the fold then so be it!! :twisted:

At lunch I hit 2 Targets and 1 TRU, nothing to be found, except a couple wave 1.

On the way home I hit 2 TRU, 4 Wal-marts, and 3 Targets in 2 hours and 20 minutes, not too bad if you ask me. Sadly, no Wave 6, but I did find the remain Wave 1&2 boosters that I needed, and I picked up some toothpaste & deodorant so it wasn't a complete waste.

I'll most likely make the same run tomorrow & Wednesday too. I'll post if I find any.

Oh yea, almost forgot, one of the Walmarts had and EOV set that looks like it's been riding around in somebodies trunk for a month. I bought it for a friend, sadly they only had one, or I would have bought more for all you out there craving one.

I haven't gone to any stores today, on purpose. Yep, the UPCs I gave are from the bottoms of the boosters, but when the Walmart I bought them from scanned them, it came up "invalid item" meaning that when they were received the put them out on the shelves without running them into the system. They probably thought they were the same as the other boosters. :roll:

But, on the off chance that anyone could use them, I thought I'd get them in. I need to get them in the first post. :duh:

When they tried to ring them up they came back as invalid so my wife went and grabbed a knights and swog rider and the caheir scanned it instead and charged us for two.

Found wave 6 at the Gamers Paradise in the HIP (Harlem & Irving Plaza) in Chicago (Norridge) last night.

Scooped up 2 of each except the heroes. Grabbed only 1 of them. There were still plenty left when I checked out. Also some Wave 5, Castles, RTTFF, Heroes of Laur, and some MS.

Said they just received them in that day, and they were putting them on the shelf when I walked in.

Sweet score for me!

So I shall report that so far I have found nothing in the DC area. So far I've checked Wally's in Fair Oaks, Burke, Bowie, Laurel, Columbia, Arundel Mills, and Glen Burnie, TRU's in Fair Oaks, Columbia, and Annapolis, Target's in Fair Oaks and Bowie, and the K-mart in Bowie. Primarily overwhelming quantities of Wave 5, but quite a bit of Wave 1 at the Wallys', plus a teeny bit of Wave 4; a few straggling Flagbearers in Annapolis; and a castle here and there. Plus the expected MS's and VW's, of course.

So, at least AFA the DC area goes, it's a fine time to pick up those extra orcs and Romans you've been jonesing for, but a crappy time for finding Wave 6. <sigh>

That is a pretty long trip. Did you actually hit all of them? At least the weather has been nice. Still have to put up with the holiday shoppers, however.

Just went back by the Wally World on County Line in Jackson MS. They Had the heroes and the Zombies!!! (one of each) I picked them up to complete my collection of all four.

They still didnt show in the register when I went to pay for them but I told the lady the price (the correct one :twisted: ) and she rang them up for me!

They were mixed up in about 25 other boosters ranging from Jandar's to collection five so be sure and dig whenever you guys and gals are searching. Happy hunting and Merry Christmas!!

Walmats at Rt. 141, Rt. 40 and Elkton, NOPE

Toys R Us at Christiana, NOPE

TRU had one Tundra and a billion Flaggers
The Walmarts had quite a few Castles

Walmarts....I'm not familiar with those ones. Where are the rt 40 and 141 stores? I know the one in Elkton...it's where the Roy Rogers used to be. The others I'm not at all familiar with.

Don't sweat it Gary, I usually get only one of each, and have recentlt been going back to older waves and buying multiples of the commons, so they should still be intact over there.

I might just skip waves 3-5, and go right for more zombies and samurai archers.

I want to make an entire game based around zombies! I can't wait for the Marvel scape to come so I'll have buildings for them to hide in!

The zombies are the first characters I can justify buying more than 3 packs of. Everyone except the drones (3), gets a 2 set limit.

No double heroes either.

Too true. I wouldn't have Nerak if it wasn't for this rule of thumb. I bought the Wave 5 uniques and didn't tell my friend who was looking for me before he bought them as well. I was going to just return them, but then Songbird was kind enough to trade me them for a spare Nerak, making him the final unit missing from my collection at the time.

Well, I just picked up all four packs of Wave Six at the Wal-Mart on 13th South 3rd West near Down Town SLC. There were only the four boosters on the shelf. And wouldn't you know it, when I went to check out, they weren't even in their system yet.

Not to rub in the pain, well, maybe a little. :D If it makes you feel better I counted wrong and will probably be doing a few stops at my local places. Difference is that I can hit two Targets, two TRU's and a Walmart in a single 25 mile loop if I start at my house. The only one likely to have it is Walmart and it is the one that is 12 miles away, so I really prefer to order from HouseMouse.

But you have to admit as an adult there is something that makes you feel all gitty and like a little kid again when you turn that corner a low and behold the item you have been searching for is there on the shelf waiting for you. Sometimes angled in such away it allmost looks like it is saying hello.

You then pick up your walking pace reach down and grab it off the shelf and snuggle with it or grind your pelvis against it in the middle of the store.

Then there also can be the cursing that can be heard through out the store if it isn't there. As children in the toy section hudddle in fear as the tall guy with a long goatee is shaking his fist in the air yelling bad words at the gods.

Its been so busy around my city for Christmas that I'm not even really sure if my stores didn't get Wave 6 yet or if they did and it sold out.

Seriously, my Toys R Us has NO Master Sets left and NO castles left. They had dozens of both months ago. Similar thing with Target. I suppose that's good though; HeroScape is selling!

As to the questioon from another post, yes, all the sightings were at Walmarts except for ones that were at gaming stores. I'm afraid you'll have to go back and re-read the thread yourself to find which sightings were which as I have seven packs of figures to open.

MULTIPLE PACKS OF WAVE SIX...

found at the 900 East (4700 So). SLC, Utah Wal-Mart, 12/22. Four other Wallys scouted earlier this week showed nothing.

There were three cardboard display cases of Wave Six on the shelf. I took the only complete set and two add'l boosters, leaving two W. 6 heroes and one Zombie pack, plus one wave 4 & 5 pack each.

I've only been in and out of this thread...has anyone else seen multiple packs of Wave Six at a single store?

Last night I tried to get them, but b/c they weren't in the system, and b/c i happened to go to a stickler for the rules, they kept them until they could enter them in the system! :lol: Well... most of the Wal-marts DO still have a TON of wave 5... and wave 4... and wave 1... But that ONE Wal-Mart where I found the one set of wave 6 now has NO expansions in stock whatsoever... so that's the one to keep checking!

well I was able to score another 4 pack from the same walmart this morning, after one more zombie set I am done. So any DFW'ers that are still scratching the itch, let me know and as long as they continue to put them out at this walmart, I will pick them up on behalf of others, and meet with you to hook ya up. I think Rychean still needs a couple of commons, so he gets firsties, but heros and any others he doesn't need, just let me know.

Last Thursday I called around to my local TRU's, Walmarts, and Targets and found 1 Walmart in central Cincinnati with 1 pack of Zombies and 1 pack of Kyries and Archers. After much agony of waiting in line, finding out the UPC's weren't in their system, waiting for the toy dept. employee to do a price check, waiting for the customer's checks behind me to not clear and their transaction to be suspended, and then waiting for the cashier to hunt n peck the keys on her register to type in the price and item descriptions for this wave 6, I finally emerged from Walmart, some 40 min later :x, with 2 packs of wave 6 @ $5.96 each!!!! :D I doubt that is the price they were supposed to be, but after the incompetent employes I had to deal with, I kinda felt like Walmart should have been paying me to be there.

Now who is the silly person in Cincinnati who only bought the Hero pack and Shades/ orcs? My boyfriend thanks you. :P

FYI- this Walmart had only 1 wave 5 pack left and nothing else, so I'm sure they will be restocking with more wave 6 as soon as they get it.

From my understanding these will be hitting Wal-Marts sometime soon so I can wait. Would I like a set of wave 6? Sure, but I also understand that this is a game and if I can wait I will be getting at least 2 (if not 3) more packs then by ordering from HMG. So people ask why I do not order from HMG? I will not pay the mark up that HMG charges. I understand that people will and that is fine, but please respect the rest of us as well that do not want to pay the asking price that HMG charges.

So wait I must but also let it be known that should anyone else need a set of wave 6 and I can help, please let me know. I will ask only what I pay and will be more than happy to give you the receipt as well. I think that with more of us working together, we will get our set of wave 6 before having to go the way of on-line stores and paying their mark up.

There's only one TRU down the street from me in Sayville.

They do have 10 TT's there though, full sets of the Flag Bearers, and they had a 1st Edition Heroscape.

Anyone want to help a Scape brother out? I still need 2 Tundra sets and the Elven Ullar Flag Bearer. Both of those sets are long gone aroun dhere in Iowa. I can pay!
