i ordered from them over a week ago. other than the automatically generated email order confirmation i haven't heard anything from them. their phone message promises that all calls and email will be responded to within 24 hours. well, i called and emailed them on monday asking for some shipping information or tracking number. it is now the end of the day on thursday and i still havent heard anything from them.
have they disappeared off the face of the earth? has anyone else heard from them in the last week? anyone else have any bad experiences dealing with them? what's up!?

I'm sorry to hear about the problems you're having. I ordered through them and it worked out fine. The Tundra sets were under 20.00 as was the Ranknar set. I ordered 2 Tundra and 1 Ranknar (plus a pirate card game, Corsari and the Pirates of the Caribbean Monopoly game) last Wendesday, the 17th. Great prices and no shippping fee because it was 99.00. I rec'd a couple of tracking number emails and an email last friday that said they would be delivering it on Wednesday the 24th. I got home last night to find a big box on the front porch. The ordering was fine and the cost was great and the delivery only took 7 days. I'd keep following up with them.

well after finally digging up another phone number for them and leaving yet another message they finally responded. the response was to tell me that the tundra had been oversold. i kinda figured that was the problem, but i would have appreciated them telling me this last wednesday when they figured out they didnt have any left to send me! anyway, apparently they got more in stock today. the website doesn't confirm this (the tundra is listed as "out of stock" and is now $24) but perhaps they are simply using this new shipment to fill backorders.
anyone who hasn't had anyluck finding tundra may want to check back at their website today and tomorrow but BE WARNED ABOUT DEALING WITH THEM! you may or may not get what you ordered when it is promised and you may or may not hear back from them for days!
which brings me to "how the *$#&! can an online merchant ever over sell an item"? when the item comes into your warehouse COUNT HOW MANY YOU HAVE and then tell the computer not to sell any more than that. sheesh. it's not like the airlines where you have people buy tickets and then not show up.
by the way, "thanks" to whichever mod decided it was necessary to change the name of this thread.

i also ordered that night within an hour of dragon 984385 posting their availability. i'm glad it worked out for you. i should have had mine yesterday too. at least i got them at the old price but who knows when they will get here.
i can understand running out of stock (though i think its stupid) but if they had simply emailed me immediately to let me know what was going on everything would have been okay. instead, they didn't let me what had happened and ignored my emails and phone calls for almost a week! that's what sucks.

I was half expecting them to only send me the non Herscape items and tell me the others were on back order. but when I saw the size of the box I knew they had to be in there.
My thinking is that they know that they are overselling it. They want your business even if they don't have the product. I ordered some green stuff at the warstore and they charged me the money and then sent me only part of the order. after a couple of emails they said it was on back order. Eventually i was sent the green stuff but they had the money in their account the whole time. Of course what I was charged and what the invoice said were two completely different amounts... but that 's another story.

Heck, FUNAGAIN still had some once they finally came in. You might want to look. How about Sandra?

carvaggio,
Sandra is the way to go - I ordered last Friday and got mine Wed. I think I'll order from her from now on because I get tired of running around and finding nothing. Maybe we can go in together on the castles and order over a hundred bucks and save on shipping? Let me know

yeah, sandra is definately reliable.
i've been ordering from her for over a year. after the sparkly water started disappearing i started buying master sets from her exclusively. i think i bought 6 or 7! she even went digging through the boxes to make sure the water was "sparkly". anyway, the castle thing is not a bad idea. i think we have some time before we have to make any decisions about that though. i'm still not too impressed with the castles (though i'm sure i'll get at least 2).
in hind sight i should have definately preordered the tundra from her, but little did any of us know that hasbro's distribution was not only getting worse, now only online retailers seem to be carrying the stuff. (should we be worried?) i was just going to be patient and pick the tundra up at target. when i started to realise that wasn't going to happen, the online retailers had all sold out. boardgames.com was the first i had learned of that offered them for sale at the time (and at $19.95 + free shipping) so i took them up on it. just too bad for me that they sold out and the next day sandra offered a few more for sale (but at higher price, right?).
anyway, if the sets come in the next few days as promised then it will have been worth the wait i suppose for the good price and free shipping. i just dont like being jerked around and ignored by their staff for four days. i'm still waiting for the NEW shipping confirmation by the way. it was promised by 5pm today. they still have a couple of hours.
