This looks pretty good. Its directed by the guy who did Hero and House of the Flying Daggers (both AWESOME movies), this looks to be just as good.

I loved Hero, but I didn't dig House of Flying Daggers that much for some reason. I'll have to give this a look.

I'd be interested in going with you all to see this on a matinee showing! Just coordinating a meeting place and paying the plane ticket(s) is an obstacle I'd find...challenging.

I was the excact opposite Minivaan. I really enjoyed Flying Daggers better than Hero. Dont get me wrong I thought Hero was a great flick.

You guys should check out Ong Bak as well if you get a chance. Give Kung fu Hustle a shot as well.

Yeah, it would be a big price for you to pay for a first date ...

If he paid that much, you'd almost be obligated to provide a happy ending. I think I will pass, no offense HEH. :D

I would love to see that. I'll look for it on DVD (I never go to movies any more).

The funny thing is, right after I wrote that, I read the "Are we overly mean here at heroscapers?" (http://www.heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?t=4441) thread ...

Nah, the excitement always comes about midway through the flick...in the dark theater.

Note to self: If going to the theater with HeH go to Snack Bar before the midpoint of the movie! When returning find new seat, when movie ends tell HeH you couldn't find him in the darkened theater ...

Oops. Let me negate my last few comments on this subject - I though this was a thread about the film, Curse of the Golden Shower.
