I'm still looking for Heroscape expansions newer than wave 3 and "heroes of laur" here in southern ontario. Anybody in this area see any yet? The local toysrus always tells me "yeah, we got more expansions coming in"... but guess what, they are always wave 3. Ordering online from the US costs so much more (with shipping and duty fees) to not make it practical.

It's even worst in Quebec 'cause ToysRus do not sell HeroScape. I asked them why. The answer was: the game is only in english. Company policy's forces us to sell only bilingual games...

Woohooo! I finally found the jotun/majorx9/abraxas/pegasus/frostdragon expansion set down here! Now if only all the other expansions would get here!

I was at the Toys R Us at Sherway Mall yesterday (South Etobicoke) and they had a lot (15 maybe) of Tundra sets. Id that where you found yours? I also picked up the jotun/majorx9/abraxas/pegasus/frostdragon expansion for myself. Looking forward to using Jotun!
Too bad I cant find any wave 1 or 2 stuff :(

I found mine at the Kitchener Toys r Us... but they are already out now. I got my wave 1 and wave 2 from housemousegames.com, but paid a lot for them (because of shipping and duty fee).

I'm from Ottawa and TRU is pathetic here  I also get the same dizzy/dumb responses, too. The staff are clueless...I suppose that will happen when you get a crossover game like HS which highly expectant gamers buy and will anticipate normal distribution and informed sellers. TRU does not meet those standards, therefore HS should be in more local game stores plus more than one big box store chain.

DO NOT come to Quebec to find HS stuff
Where will you go in Quebec; which city? I know of two shops in Montreal: Le Valet de Coeur (St-Denis) and Carta Magica (St-Hubert). Last time I went to Le Valet de Coeur, they still had some first ed MS though. 8)

Regina SK: Nothing but the Master Set, Wave 3, and both large hero packs. That is all.
Tumbleweed, Tumbleweed.
Let's hope Wal-Mart picks up their socks here.

I drove down to the Sherway Mall toyrus the other day and luckily they still had Tundra sets in stock so I got one.
Now I am just missing the small wave 4 expansions... but I've got my sister (who lives in San Jose, California) looking for them over there. When she finds them, she will unpackage them and put them in a small box and mail it to me (and specify $5 gift so I don't have to pay duty, hehe). She knows nothing about the game though, except what I've described to her, so hopefully she has some luck.

Did the Sherway Toy R Us have any expansions other the Wave 3 in or were they all still Jandar's Oath?
If they do I will have to make another trip!

Yay, I finally got sent my shipment of wave 4 from my sister in california. Basically, she said shipping was about $5 and it took only about a week to get here. Makes me wonder why ordering them online from websites in the states costs so much more for shipping. Also, she marked $5 gift on the parcel so I had to pay no duty.
As for the local ToyRus, the one in Kitchener in my case, they had about 6 packs of Tundra sets about 2 weeks ago which are all gone now. They still have all of wave 3 in stock. Maybe wave 4 will start showing up soon around here but now I'm looking for wave 5 and castles.

I have been checking all of the ToysRUs around the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) over the last two weeks and all anybody has is the Tundra and Wave 3. I was able to find one 4th Mass and Wolves in Pickering (that I purchased) but that was all. I am still missing a lot of the earlier stuff so if you ever see anything anywhere in Southern Ontario, let me know!

Hey Mr.Bishop,
What exactly do you need? I know that JJ's (Cards and Comics) in Waterloo stocks Heroscape and I think they have some older sets left. Last week they had RTFF but it was abit overpriced.
As far as Toys R Us is concerned their computers don't register what wave they carry so unless you call each store individually you'll never know what they have. They are however expecting the castles and they could be in as early as mid Sept. (Still to long for me to wait so I ordered from Sandra).
Yesterday Wal-mart in Brantford had the new Zanafor's Discovery (2 of each package). I found a set at my local store last week so hopefully they'll start stocking them regularily. Hope this helps a little.

You are very sweet to say that they were a bit overpriced. From what I've seen, model/hobby shops sell RTFF for about 50 dollars here. They're fifteen dollars in the United States.
Dang it.

Thats exciting news on the castles for Canadian fans! Maybe they will have some wave 5 come in with them.
I picked up wave 4 at the Walmart in Brantford on Sunday. I was out that way visiting the in-laws and thought I would stop by. I was one happy fellow walking down the aisle seeing eight packages neatly lined up! They must have restocked fairly quickly if you saw them there yesterday.
I still don't have any wave 1, most of wave 2 (just have the wolves and bluecoats), RTTFF or lava. I am hoping to make a trip to the U.S. sometime soon though to look for the missing items. Once I have those sets its time to start convincing the wife to let me get multiples of the commons!

I just picked up some castle packs from the Toys R Us in Kitchener... I'm sure they are in a lot of TRUs here now! Go get some if you haven't already! Sadly, no wave 5 with them.

I know this doesn't help, but Regina's walmart had some in, I bought them all, and they've had nothing since.
Distribution is ridiculous.

Although I've heard of people finding it, I haven't even seen wave 4 in any stores here yet. Finding wave 5 would be great!

If you live in Kitchener, check out the Ottawa St. Wal Mart. There was one pack of Vipers/ Greeks left behind the large expansion packs (as of 2 days ago). Hopefully they will be restocking soon.

Ack, I haven't been in my local walmarts for a while... didn't know they are now stocking heroscape. Thanks for the heads up!
EDIT: I just visited the Walmart in Cambridge and as of about two hours ago, they have a complete set of WAVE 5 left! YES!! It seems that our drought of new heroscape products is over... at least here in southern ontario!

Well I pick up Wave 5 today, yaaa, at the local Wally Mart. The interesting part ocurred when I got home and opened them up. Hasbro is now taking the Canadian market more seriously. I hadn't noticed at the store, in my excitemnet to have found wave 5, but the packaging for this wave is, like most packaging for the Canadian market, in both English and French. To my surprice when I opened the first booster it had two sets of cards. At first I thought it was a packaging error and some other fanatic is going to be **** off to find no card in his booster, but on closer inspection the second set of cards is in french. All four wave 5 booster I bought had both English and French text card in them.
In my view this is a very good thing. It means we should seeing a more consistance flow of new product into Canada.

I thought that too, but it's true. Canadian waves now have cards in both official languages.
Vive la belle province, who might actually start to get Heroscape in now.
TRU still packs the American packaging, as has been seen with the castle sets. My door army card is just in english. Anyone find anything different?

G'day,
I know we're a bit further away, but I just priced a few packs to be sent down under (Western Australia) - US$60. Ouch!

Yes!!!!! I can confirm to you HeroScape has now entered Wall-Mart's and Zellers in Québec! I've started a thread about it:

Ha! That's what they did. I was wondering how they could possibly fit all the text on one card!

Well, here in Kingston, they should still have W5. I'll update you though after I go soon. Probably today or tomorrow.
Zellers? Really? That would ROCK!

No, wave 6 probably won't show up here in Ontario for a while yet... Jazz and I went together through HouseMouseGames and ordered 2 sets of wave 6! They look awesome and most play well... If you are looking for some hard to find HS just let Jazz or myself know and maybe we can all go in on an order together which will help a bit with the shipping costs.

I talked to J&Js cards anc collectables... and Jason said that they were hoping they will get all the waves in stock again, including 6 *soon*
But Hasbro Canada tends not to be reliable for them. I quote he said
"We'll see what they have left for us"
Otherwise they will go to their supplier in the states and that will take longer.
I wouldn't expect it for a month to a month and a half.

So, I finally got around to going to J&J's store and purchasing all of wave 6. I see that J&J has a lot of HS stock in currently... which is good! If you are in the Kitchener/Waterloo area, make a quick trip to J&J's to get all your missing expansions.
I don't mind buying from small hobby shops that charge more, as the total (with taxes) ended up being $68CAD, which is still cheaper than the ~$90CAD I ended up paying (with exchange/shipping/border duty) when I got wave 2 from housemousegames.com a while back.
