Do special attacks benefit from height?

Nope. That would make special attacks way too powerful. Special attacks already pass right through most defensive abilities what more do you want? Nakita user here who got all three killed in one explosive shot

I understand how the special attacks don't receive a bonus, but the figure being attacked would still receive a defensive bonus correct? If mimring was trying to fry an orc grut with his fire breath special attack, he would roll 4 dice, but if the orc grut was four levels higher, he would roll 2 defense dice instead of 1, right?
