"This can not be borne!" Help the dwarves in their battle for vengance. Or send them packing. Maybe you can finish the job by killing the Balrog and reclaiming Moria. (Good luck with that!)

GenCon Championship
New old format this year. 500 point armies. That means battle to the death, no break point. A format not seen since, oh about 2003. Once again no PR71 Frodo.

12 slots for tournament. 500 point format will be friendlier for those with smaller collections (Looking at you JDTenor...)

8 slots for fun event. Armies provided. Just come and play.

Do you guys ever play on heroscape terrain, do you use official maps, or do people make their own custom maps?

I have the starter set and only played against myself once, but it seemed fun. Not sure I could do a tourney, never having played it against a real person.

The tournament uses the paper maps as the map choice process for each match makes it impracticle to use tiles.

For the fun events we use heroscape tiles as the maps are fixed.

Stop by the fun event, sometimes there are no shows. Last year we had four players in the event who had never played before.
