An interesting day indeed...
-Tons of upsets in the College Football world...including my beloved Longhorns.
-Supergeek and Slade decided to invade Nebraska with victory in mind.
-Maps from Heroscapers.com gave us 5 maps to choose to play on, several from Chicano which I would like to compliment on making very good 'tourney' maps.

Now for the report...
The extreme details are a little dark...but Ill do the best I can until Supergeek and Slade correct any mistakes.
Participants were:
Myself, Supergeek, Bridge-it, Slade, and 4 other friends of mine (Ryan[who was at the Tree Town Open], Ron, Shawn, and Roger).

Our first match was one on one battles (map picks will hopefully be posted by Supergeek since I forgot my camera at home...twice!). The matchups were:
Me (Braxas, Raelin, Sentinels, Krav Maga) vs. Roger (Spartacus, Crixus, Krav Maga, Syvarris)
Slade (Sir Glbert, Knights of Weston, 4th Mass., *I forget who else*) vs. Bridge-it (Nilfeim, Mimring, *I forget who else*).
Shawn (Syvarris, Raelin, Krav Maga, *I forget who else*) vs. Ryan (Major Q9, Anubian wolves, Dumatef Guard)
Ron vs. Supergeek .

My army started off really well against Rogers Archer and Krav Maga. I was rolling very well, butt he took out a couple of my KM as my Sentinels proved too much for Syv and the KM with Raelins D-Bonus. My Lone KM and 3 Sentinels proceeded to take glyphs and move toward a charging Crixus. This was where I started rolling ones and nones on all sides of the die roll, against a good rolling Crixus. Needless to say, Crixus kicked everybody on my sides butt. I was pretty amazed...but Crixus is [i]that good.
I know the rest od rhw qinnwea were Ron, Ryan, and Slade. But I dont know their stories.
After the first match we broke for Pizza, which we ordered prior to starting. It was hot, fresh, and felt good after a good whipping. Ryan and Ron had to go pick up a friend of theirs, so the remainder of us started up a big 2 on 2 on 2 team game. This was a little exciting...
I got teamed with Shawn (DS for short), Bridge-it got teamed with Roger (BR for short), and Supergeek got teamed with Slade (SS for short). We probably started this game around 3:45-4:00 pm and didnt get finished until 8:00 (and that was only because Roger and Shawn had to leave).
Armies here were 500 pts apiece and consisted of *roughly*:
DS--
D-Theracus, Syv, Krav Maga, Raelin, Laglor, Izumi.
S-Raelin, Krav Maga, Nakita, Thorgrim, AE.
BR--
B-Saylind, Q9, Theracus, Syv *I think that was all*.
R-Spartacus, Crixus, Syv, Krav Maga.
SS--
I honestly could not tell you everybody Supergeek and Slade went with...but I remember Acularh, Minions, Syv, WoA, Aubrien Archers, and Monks.

Supergeek and Slade...please edit this when you get a chance...

It started with SS, and BR splitting their forces but we took after the immediate threat which were the Aubrien Archers and Syv. His Syv got height after a dumb move by me...I had hoped for more damage...but only took one marker off of Slades Syv. Through thick and thin...thick being the attacks on our Krav Maga and Slades Frenzy rolls, and the thin being the amount of contact BR received and die rolls for my entire squad. Granted my Kravs stayed alive...but it was because I was consistantly rolling ones. It helped.

*my daughter wants me to get to playing and watching cartoons...so can either Slade or Supergeek finish this for me?? Thanks guys. I had a great time and cant wait to get together again.

ok here is My take and I know that SuperGeek took pics and will be posting them so hold on to the horses.

Game 1 for me: Alister, Sir Gilbert, 2x KOW, 2x 4th Mass
Vs
Brig-it: Mimring, Nilfheim, Dead Eye Dan, Krav Mag

I think the map was called Short Cut from the download section.

Turn 1: Mimring jumps on the top on other side of river, defense dice are good for me, Knights of Weston get into hand to hand with Mimring and one gets a +2 Defense rune. His Krav grab a +1 Defense rune. I use 2x KOW and 1x turn marker on 4th mass the whole game. I kill Mimring out of the center and Nilfheim comes in and fails to roll more then a single skull for three turns straight with every turn marker on him. The knights track down the Krav by turn three and one knight gets into base to base with dead eye who hasnt taken a turn yet in the game. It was brutal and I was able to win this one with only losing one knight total.

I will add more for the massive battle later, thanks for the games, Slade

What a busy friggin weekend! I had a good time playing against the Nebraskans, seeing the TTO road trip crew again and being Slades partner in the 3 team free for all. I'm sure that it will happen again.
My match against Ron was a tough one. I had the Venoc warlord, Aubrien archers x2, EOV's, Venoc vipers, Armoc vipers and Guilty against Ron's Nilfheim, Krug, Raelin and 1 squad of Minions. Yeah, I lost but it was closer than I had thought. My Aubriens and EOV's were able to take out the Minions and I think Raelin. The Venoc warlord and his Armocs took out Krug and then went after Nilfheim and failed horribly, after that I had nothing left to stop Nilfheim from taking out Guilty and the Venocs.
For the FFA I took 2x Minions, Monks, Krav maga, and EOVs. The dice were not with me for this one but that last minion did finally get to rough some people up for several rounds. I will post pics as soon as I can.

Sorry it took so long. I'm not sure who created all of these but, maybe deliverymanxas remembers. I know that we didn't have enough terrain for the map in the second pic, so we had to kind of fudge it a little.

If I remember...
We didnt have enough terrain pieces after building the other maps, so we had to discard about 5 levels of the second map ( I think ). Instead we added all the levels in the center to raise the bridge. Everything else worked out almost perfectly, and it was a lot of fun.

Heroscape...
Pizza...
Pop...
College Football...
You just cant beat that kind of Saturday afternoon!
