Gambit is the Tavern throwing up. He-who-must-not-be-named got banned. You can find the story in scapers online. Venom was kiddnapped :ninja: :twisted: Niterider hasn't been aroun in months, and Jason, I have no clue. Sorry. hope that helped. :D

I believe it was the cumulative effect of rubbing so many people the wrong way so many times, coupled with a certain thread that was the proverbial straw-that-broke-the-camel's-back where he became particularly abrasive. So he got banned.

It didn't seem that there was one incident that itself merited banning (correct me if I'm wrong). But if you eventually manage to alienate and irritate pretty much everyone on the site over time . . . .

Ok, just to clear this up:

1) People sometimes take breaks from posting on their own.

2) UD was banned for inappropriate communications with another member, read the aforementioned thread for details.

3) Jason did get permabanned, and it was pretty much for reasons mentioned.

4) Gambit disappeared completely at the same time UD was banned. He did not post from a geographically similar location, so they don't seem to be the same person, but perhaps he was very very disturbed over the events and chose to stay offline. He dropped off the other site from his sig at the same time.

5) NiteRaider probably got busy with school. He is a sporadic poster, though very active and entertaining when he is able to come online. I hope he's been able to make some gaming days with people in his area.

6) Venom, well, he posted, so does that take him off the list? Honestly, he had a 2 day gap without posts and you put him on the mia list?


Did you know you can search for posts by a person and that will show you the last times they posted? Go to their profile and click on the link "Find all posts by..."

Gambit is a high school student IIRC. School started back up around the time he stopped showing up as well. I don't know if he's just too busy with school, but that may be an explanation.

Know how you feel. I believe we are those that are liked, but not severly missed as we don't shake the community as some of the mentioned members do.

You know who I was thinking about recently...Endpawn, great custom terrain and Sapper my other military pal. I guess the answer to this thread is that people just kinda move on after a bit. Problem for me now is that this site is about much more than a silly game anymore. I truly enjoy the folks here and I miss it when I cannot see what everyone is up to.
