Hi everyone. I recently got a 1st edition copy of Omen: A Reign Of War. Let me tell you, this is our go-to game now. It is based on Greek mythology, where the two players represent half-god sons of Zeus battling to see who will be the ruler of the Grecian Isles. The artwork is fantastic, and the gameplay is very tight. Plus, lots of opportunities to screw your opponent. One of my favorite parts is that there are never any dead cards sitting in your hand turn after turn. You can always use them for something. The game plays in about 30-40 minutes once you learn it, and that shouldn't take more than one or two games. The company that makes it, Small Box Games, has a Kickstarter campaign going to get a nice pretty second edition printed, which includes the expansion and several new Kickstarter-only cards. Here's the BGG link, the folks there have several nice reviews. http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/94104/omen-a-reign-of-war

I can't recommend this game highly enough. Please take a look, you will enjoy.

Did you realize the the designer of the game (and the owner of Small Box Games), John Clowdus, is a member of this site (and has been since May 2006)? Justjohn (http://www.heroscapers.com/community/member.php?u=36)

And yes, Omen is a really good game!

Support their new edition on Kickstarter. I own the first edition and expansion, but the game is good enough and worth supporting to see the new extra stuff in the new edition.
