While this isn't stricktly Scape, I'm posting this here because I'm hopeing to get someone or group to make killer custom stats for these (and the bounty still applies). Anyway, on to the big news!

Dungeon Crawler minis & Auggies Games are proud to announce our upcoming Prepainted miniatures line and the beginning of preordering. Our first batch will be arriving early January but please note, quantities will be limited as this is just the first wave being air flown in. We are currently selling preorders for ONLY what we will be getting in our first batch (the ones we are getting in Jan.) and NOT the bulk so if you miss out just check back as we do have plenty more coming. The bulk of the order will arrive approximately 6 weeks after the first batch.
Currently the 4 miniatures in the set are only being distributed through Auggiesgamesonline.com (http://www.auggiesgamesonline.com/) and have a price of $2.99. If one model sells particularly well it may go up in price so that we can drop the slower moving ones a bit (the average of all 4 should hover right around $3).

Some pics :D if you want to take a look!! (http://s1122.photobucket.com/albums/l525/Auggest/Work%20Pictues/Dungeon%20Crawler/) Three pages of pic with most of the SCAPE shots being on the end of the first and begining of the 2nd page.

Very cool, Andrew! It is exciting to see the Dungeon Crawler minis on an actual battlfield. You can be assured that some cool HS customs will be forthcoming for them. :)

Andrew, are the figures attached to the black bases or are the figure and base all molded together as one piece?

Appears you are already out of the vines, I expected them to be a hot seller but all in one day is fast.

We have more going up now. I just list them in "batchs" to help prevent one or two people from getting them all (I have 2 customers that routinely buy me out of certain items and while they are EXCELLENT customers and I value their bussiness I like to spread the love a bit). If you see I'm out, of something just check back in a 1/2 day or so as I constantly monitor preorders like this to "refill" and price tweek if needed. Still though, I'm supprised the first batch sold as fast as they did. That's a very encouraging sign so I'm guardedly optimistic. To be honest though, I expect to sell through the first 1k units of each fairly quickly, it's the 2nd k that's ultimately going to decide the endevor's success. Once we reach that mark we'll examine another "set" of 4. Hopefully the timeline to bring the next set will be quicker to since we know a bit more about the process.

Oh, I hadn't thought of GLyphs....that's good. I was thinking a squad with 3 units and a cheap humanoid caster type that could summon them and move them around (say within 5 squards of him or something). the summoner +3 figs squad might be too expensive though as that would have a base price of about $10 plus whatever model was used for the summoner AND we would have to worry about having enough of the summoner models.

Now here and shipping. These are really cool and I'm very excited. Depending on how well they do we'll have more offerings in the future (were already working on the next set).

I think they look even better than the pics! I just actually saw them for the first time in yesterdays delivery (though I've seen pics of just about every stage of the operation). Certainly feel free to post here (either way, I value constructive feedback) when you get them :D.

If I remember to, I will! :D

Out of curiosity, are the bases larger than HS hexes? If they are, I'll deal with it, I'm just wondering. Thanks!

Almost the exact circumference of the D&D Heroscape (from the last 2 waves when WotC re sized them) and just a hair thinner. They work fine with the Ladders (I just tested them out)......I can just see the vines climbing up the tower walls LOL.

Awesome! I'm not gonna let 'em climb ladders, (I've got a power figured out for that), but just knowing the sizes of the bases is great stuff. Thanks!

I am really excited to get my hands on these, just waiting for a some of my figures to make it to you and then I will be turning around and using the credit to buy these figs. I just wish there was a beak or mouth to go with those Kraken Tentacles.

Funny you should say that.....I've been thinking of doing a custom for it and it would be a single piece mold with very few paint steps and not use too much resign. I might be able to do those "in house" for fairly cheap.

Heya Everyone,

Dungeon Crawler Minis are off to a great start! Sets 2 and 3 (4 figs each) are already in the works and production should begin shortly. Were hoping to have them in hand by GenCon (mid August). Sadly, set 3 doesn't lend itself to Scape very well as it's all "TOWNSFOLK" but some could find use, particularly the "Harrlet" mini which might make a good spell caster.

These two items though should do well. The giant Ant is getting amazing feedback and will be very popular I think.

Two Dungeon Crawler Wave 3 minis can be seen in their Facebook album (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150686762520900.419018.236179010899&type=3) --a pair of humans to go with Wave 2's animals seen above.

Thanks Oni,
We JUST this week went into actual production of waves 2 and 3 (8 more minis total) and we hope to have them in hand for GenCon. We have about a month built in but you never know with these kinds of things.... Anyway, be sure to check 'em out!

AWESOME!!! and THANKS. The biz model we have set up for these to work is pretty much word of mouth. The markup would be too great to go through normal distributor channels. The more that move the more likely (and faster) we are to get more made so thanks again and keep spreading the word!

Sometime within the next 2 weeks hopefully, I'm just waiting on word from our importer with a date. We might even have them in hand as soon as 3-4 weeks. I don't have exact measurements but you can see 'em on Placticrypt.com

Hey Auggie any news on preorders for the upcoming DC minis or the upcoming Dungeon Command sets: Tyranny of Goblins and Curse of Undeath

Hmmm...I can really start anytime. It's released in mid Sept. so I'll likely start taking them right after GenCon but maybe before. Has the whole set been spoiled yet? If so I can start singles sells too.
Curse of Undeath is released in November so it's a ways away!

OK, update on this is there will be no preorders for DCM. There was some communication problems (translation issues) about the timeline. It looks like we will have the first 10% air shipped again right at GenCon and we should be selling them there (booth #1943). Whatever is left over I'll bring back and sell here then take preorders for the ones that will be shipped by boat (about 6 weeks usually).

Also, not sure how interested this crowd is but we are going to have these in unpainted form as well (we're calling them "naturals"). If anyone wants to see actual factory production pics of the sculpts check here (http://plasticrypt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4693)

We've settled on a price point of $1.29 each for these with the set being an even $5 at GenCon. We SHOULD have them (it's gonna be close though), lets prey there are no customs delays!! They will go up on my site just after the Con with whatever is left as will the prepainted ones. Both of these items will be limited until our boat shipment arrives which will be 1-2 months behind the air shipment.

Preorders for Goblins of Tyranny just went up. If I run out of somthing check back as I try to stagger the listing of my total so one person doesn't order all of 1 thing and everyone gets more of a chance. I think that the Horned Devil is going to be pretty hot. The DDM piece (was) up to $24 though that's sure to take a big hit.

Lots of familiar sculpts there

Each set has only one new sculpt :(. I really don't understand why WotC does this. I must be missing something but I know exactly what it costs to make a mini now with 3 sets worth of DCM's and I can say it would add PENNIES to the costs to produce to make all new sculpts. I must be missing something though I really cannot think what (and have really tried). For the extra few cents per unit costs I KNOW WotC would sell AT LEAST 10% more product and really, it's prolly closer to 20% or more.

Well first off because they probably only have so many sculpts available in their vault of them. From what I understand there are a few unused ones from older sets much like Heroscape's D3 wave had. So to make brand new ones they'd have to get them made by a sculptor which is probably a cost they don't want. Even pennies adds up when you are a greedy Hasbro investor.

P.S.: I really need that dog mini now!
