I am playing with my brother and my girlfriend using 500 point armies. Here is the breakdown of each army:
Mine His Hers
1 x Ornak 1 x Finn TVC 1 x Jotun
1 x Grimnak 1 x Drake Alex 1 x Tornak
1 x Krug 1 X McDirk Warriors 1 x Marden Hounds
2 x Blade Gruts 1 x Tarn VW 1 x Blade gruts
2 x Arrow Gruts 1x 4th Mass Line
1 x Airbrn Elite
Let me start by saying this is a free-for-all game. It is a tri-tiered board with your average terrain setup. My brother goes first and is lucky enough to drop the Airborne into battle on his 3rd turn. My girl friend sends Tornak and his band of merry men my way, dividing her forces. It is now my turn and I dispatch my FB Ornak and my gruts to engage with her troops. I roll 4 crests with Ornak and am now attacking for 5-10 with each grut. With the death of her squad and Tornak I am now looking at a full charge from both opponents. I am now the bullseye. Round two I go first and send Grimnack, Krug, and the Arrow Gruts towards my brother and prepare with Ornak and the Blades for the Jotun Onslaught that is coming my way. Round three I grab initiative and charge both sides. Krug, Grimnak, and one set of Arrows start crushing the offense of the Mcdirks and the tarns, while on the other side of the field, the Blades, with Ornak, charge the Giant. I rolled 5! shields with Ornak and the Blades slayed the Giant in one turn eliminating my gilfriend from this round, as all of her markers were on Jotun. Round 4 my brother starts whittling away at Krug, and the Marden Hounds take out the first set of Blades. I now go and abolish the hounds with my second set of gruts, rolled 2 and 2 crests, moving into position for a flank on my brother. Grimnak finished off the Vikings and started chomping the Elite. Krug with 6 wounds killed Drake and Finn, and the Arrows started on the 4th Mass. Round 5 I killed all that was left. We had a great time and I know I was lucky on some of the rolls, However, Ornak will will always have a special place in my heart :D
