I'm going to try to make a stencil and paint it on. Remove the original symbol with nail polish remover.

My son decided he was going to mark up some of my hexes and my tower's flag with a Sharpie (R).

I was pleased that rubbing alcohol took off the Sharpie and not any paint.

A quick and easy way is to use the symbols from the gallery and print them on mailing labels. It's not great, but it does okay.http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h160/Revdyer/2flags_0131.jpg

I'm about to head to the basement to mess around with the two new castles that I bought today. I got them to get the free flagbearers and b/c I only had one castle before (I'm glad I only had one so I could somehow justify to myself to buy two more to get the flagbearers).

I wonder if my wife (who doesn't play) will notice the extra castle pieces on my large map that I've had set up for quite a while.

I used finger nail polish remover, to remove the original decal, I'm going to make a stencil to paint the other decal on, then clear coat it.

i'd be eager to customise my second flag but do it so i can wrap someting around it so i can change the general depending on the players choice!

I've done some custom flags, but there not very good. All I did was cut out a peice of paper that fit over the flag and then drew the symbol on it with a sharpie. At least it works.

Wasnt there a post somewhere about someone using a Megabloks Dragons castle flag for a custom also?

Edit: I just thought of something that I thought may be interesting. What if we made the custom flags identical to the flagbearer flags? Just use the flag base that comes with the original flag to mount them to the battlements but print out a picture of the flagbearer flag and attach it to a pole, then cut off the original flag and mount the new flag to the original base. I am not to great at image editing so if someone could edit an image of the flags. That would be greatly appreciated. Edit:

That's a good idea, ottakontroll. It beats my idea of buying a second set of flagbearers and cutting the figures away from the flags <grin>.

I thought about that myself LOL! If they were only reasonably priced. ( I do not want to get into a debate about price in this thread)

My boys found one of their megabloks dragons flags from the portal of fire set. So I took a side-by-side picture. Quite similar arent they? muhahahaha.
