The semi-regular DFW gig at Gen X Comics Nov 11th and 12th?

How many of you folks would like to gather at Gen X again for some Scape on a Saturday (or Sunday)? I know I would. I thought this thread could be a sounding board for anyone that wants to gather there sometime soon.

My schedule is pretty restrictive the next two weekends, but November 11th is wide open for me right now. Heck I'm even off work that Friday for Veteran's Day. How many of you could make that date? And if you want to try to schedule a meeting there earlier, by all means do so.

Velenne, do we need to call ahead to play there?

You don't have to call ahead. Although, on that one Sunday that Rodriquez, D-Dyzzle and I all went there, a group showed up to do a Mechwarrior tourney. So, if there's a scheduled event I believe they'll get preference.

I'm game for playing though.

BTW, for those not in the know....

There's a FANTASTIC Italian restaurant that is cheap and delicious just a little ways up Industrial. It's called Lushaj's and I highly recommend it. Anything you get is kick @$$. In fact, I ate there today. :)

Unfortunately I'm probably going to be tied up with family and work stuff until December.

I hope to meet up with you guys again eventually to do some gaming and maybe test some custom HS figures, if anyone is up for that.

I still have not played Markwars or DFlynSqrl and Ninthdoc owes me a game.

Well, I can't make it out there *this* weekend (LAN party) or *next* weekend (monthly D&D game) or the weekend after that (BGG Con).....I could begin making it a pseudo-regular thing on Saturdays...

picked up a full set today and 2 extra jandar/utgar..

which was most of what TRU here had on display..

but they still had 2 more jandars/utgar left.

hopefully I can find the other 3 to get my 2 sets worth tomorrow or soon.

I am new to the site and new to gameplay with other groups. My friend and I are the only ones to play against each other, and we were looking to meet other players. (partly to expand our skills, and partly to see if we have been following all the rules correctly to begin with).

So where is this place that you meet, and does everyone bring their own terrain and figures, and how do you decide what scenario to play etc.?

Welcome to the site, Piherculis. It would be helpful for you to include your location in your profile. I'm quite a distance away (five hours driving), but want to participate in the DFW group two or three times a year as possible. They didn't shoot me the first time out, any way. <grin>

theres a comic book store in bedford (ill grab adress in a min) we meet there a lot. no specific dates, just say youll be there and more will come.


i usually bring all figs n terrain. but find out who is and aint before the event.

there friendly get togethers, senarios, if any, are decided before the battles.


does your friend have an account here? also how old r yall, itd b awsome to meet someone my age (13).


i might b able to make it this weekend. just got a gf today (WOOOT) so i might get a date.
