I added a poll here so we could see how our poll might differ from the community-at-large.

I picked Jandar knowing what we'll be seeing in the next wave. I think Einar did the catching up it needed. Jandar seems to be has been suffering as late.

I voted jandar simply because we've been seeing so much ullar, einar, and vydar lately its time for jandar. Utgar already has a butt load of guys.

Jandar and Utgar have plenty. I would like to see more Ullar because that is what I find myself playing alot of lately.

Yet Jandar's units are basically a single Squad/Hero combo. You have the Knights and Denrick, but nothing further. Alistar and his Warriors, but no other squad. Nothing thematic to go with the Vikings, and apparently there were only 5 guys worth pulling from WWII. There's just not the kind of thematic cohesion the other armies get.

I was going to vote Vydar, because I use Vydar so much even with 14 army cards they are some of the best Q9, X17, Krav, Agent Carl, Blast/Glad combo, Nikita/Gorrillanator combo, Braxas, Microcorp & even Sudema with some luck makes them one of the best, Vydar General has it easy with that kind of punch. So I went with Jandar because I think that with 17 army cards they should be better I know they have Drake, Nilf, Alastair/Mcdirk Warrior combo, Sir/Knights combo, The 4th & AE but not much punch after that & AE can be questionable, so I would like to see Jandar get stronger!

Added in a few that you missed out (and from the new wave upcoming), Id also stick Krug with the Orcs; he was pretty much meant to be bonded with the gruts, surely.

Anyway, yes, Jandar definately needs some decent additions to his troops. I think perhaps "Duke Plantagenet" and his heavy cavalry, cousin of Sir Denrick from across the channel in ol' Blighty ;) Then perhaps a HMG crew for the AE... Another squad of kyrie that bond with Concan...

The point made about Jandar is a good point, but in some ways, I don't mind that he's got very little thematic cohesion. While I like all the units for every general, I think its cool that jandar's is somewhat variational.

If the poll asked who was my favorite general it would be Utgar hands down. However that's not what the poll is asking, it asks who you think needs more troops. For this reason I went with Jandar.

This is the main reason I went with Jandar, despite him not being my favorite or even in my top 3. The guy is suppose to be one of the "main" generals along with Utgar, yet his force is a lot smaller. With wave 6 the gap only looks to widen between Utgar and Jandar. In fact Jandar barely has more then the three lesser generals at this point. For this reason I would really like to see his forces boosted with wave 7 and beyond.

With Einar getting a kyrie squad in wave 6 I think it's safe to say both Ullar and Vydar will probably be recieving their own kyrie squads in future waves.

Voted Einar, because he has the least troops. And he isn't part of the "Got dragon?" club.

I'm going to have to say Einar, for the simple fact that this general has NO double based figures, and NO large or huge figures.

And looking at the above list, he currently has the least amount of points in his army.

However, I would like to see some more Utgarian units, seeing as how he always seems to get the coolest figs.

Looks like HS players at large don't give as much love to Einar as we here do. Jandar love was pretty dead on. Seems like most everyone is saying Utgar's done got enough, despite (hate to admit it) the coolness of their powers.

Einar for me. I think the historical units combined with fantasy elements add a lot of the flavour that makes HS such a unique game.

Poor old Einar is a more than a little behind as has been mentioned earlier in the thread.
