Getting a jumpstart on C3G *Need help in latest post*

I am sorry if this is in the wrong place but I just got started in using the C3G units, I always had 2 MtCB's and just recently decided to have an all Marvel Game. I had a blast and my dad enjoyed it too. I was quicker and easier to set up then classicscape and we knew the characters already so it was more thematic. So this got me looking into the C3G units to expand the game. I saw several I liked and decided to pick them up. So I went to a couple sites to see what I had access to and from Coolstuffinc I picked up:

Black Canary - Cosmic Justice #34, 35, or 36
Green Arrow - Crisis #26
Lex Luthor - Cosmic Justice #89

There's a (Much better looking, in my opinion) 50 cent Green Arrow in the new 75th Anniversary set. Some of the figures can be proxied by cheaper ones, so if you're short on cash, they still work well! :)

When I built my collection, what really got hit me $ wise was the squads. All the squads are really cool and I recommend playing with them. I built 3 sets of each and no place really had all the numbers I needed in stock. I had to buy from multiple dealers and shipping cost are what got me in the end. If you have any collectable swap mets in your area, you can usually find Hand Ninjas, Hydra Agents with ease.

Figure wise the two most expensive figures for me were Kilowog $25 and Guy Gardner $20!! Its worth the money if your into the game. Right now I have every released figure and have spent about $250 in my collection, but I have lots of commons and uncommons too.

Theres nothing wrong with proxying if you cant find the sculpts, since there arent any c3g tournaments, and even if there were im sure they wouldnt be against them unless say your using atom for a sentinel. In some cases even though i have the figure on the card i prefer my repaints or other sculpts. I use a white queen repainted for poison ivy and the arkham asylum two face since i like the looks of them more than the official ones. Griffin has also done a ton of really awesome repaints/ customs in place of the ridiculously priced clix. Definitely something to consider if you cant find your guys.

I think there are plans to update the Angel card with the new one from the unreleased X-Men set. He would be much cheaper and common.

I have the new Green Arrow. He's a good looking mini, but feels a bit lanky. SUPER long legs. I mean, he's got nicer legs than Black Canary.

And the new Mystique is a no-go, I think... she doesn't have a gun.

I could care less. At least she doesn't look like a dog chewed her.

I'll probably just mod a gun on her (I've got tons of extra hands lying around :p ), if it really starts to bother me.

As far as I know I finished off CSI's stock of the rookie versions of those figures.

I have all the figures, but they're just such crappy looking figures that I can't wait for the new set to come out so I can replace them. :p

Absolutely. The current GA is great, but doesn't represent the card and Skill Shot like the new one or even the old single arrow pose does.

Yeah, I mean I'm going to stick with what I already have, but I figured the single arrow pose would be a better fit, and unlike the other single arrow pose it doesn't look like a dog turd.
