Who is your favorite C3G design? #4

We have taken three polls now, and so far we have three winners; Joker, Flash, and Jean Grey. Because there is a limit on how many items I can put in a community poll, I have intentionally put off some of our designs for now and I have broken up some of the waves.

So out of these designs, who is your favorite?

I had to vote for Wolverine. I mean for a grounded melee guy, he is as BA as it gets. :twisted:

Even though the cops and thugs are great, the commons still aren't as interesting to me, which really narrows the choices in this one. My favorites are Deadpool and Colossus, but I went with Deadpool, who I use a lot more. Great guy!

Tough choice between Wolverine and Deadpool. Went with Wolverine, he's just a blast to play.

Edit: honorable mention to Colossus and Nightcrawler.

I am glad to see Civies get some love. They have become one of my most favorite units lately. I honestly think they are better at board control than Rats. Now I am not saying that they are necessarily better, but they are better at flooding a battlefield, especially since they can attack each other and keep moving. :twisted:

I've had some good success with Nightcrawler so far, and seen Wolverine tear up the end game, but if Heroscape were compared to chess Professor X would be the king.

There is no choice BUT Professor X.

Wolverine and Deadpool aren't far behind, but... honestly, I find their whole "Healing Factor" thing more annoying than anything. If you're playing against them, you need to concentrate EVERYTHING on the Healing Factor unit the second they start moving. And if you're playing with them, they'll either dominate entirely and unbalance the game or go down really fast to some good hits.

But that's just me.

I chose Two-Face. When he fails his first flip and doesen't even get to attack it's frustrating, but when he gets elevation and multiple attacks, he can really do some damage.

I almost never use Heads you Live. While everyone seems to think it's better than attacking, it isn't nearly as exiting.

I love the Professor also, but I like the X-Man better as a team then any one individual in it.

I really like Nightcrawler's design, but he lacks the survivability I would expect from Nightcrawler. I wish we lowered the roll for his Bamf! Evade Special Power.

I agree as well, or if he were just a tad stronger even, not saying he shouldbe, but that would add to his draftability for me if it were one way or the other:)

I'd like to see more Uncommon Heroes in the C3G, I love Uncommon Heroes. (Except the Sentinels because they hurt my favorite army build.)

Tough choices there.

I went with Wolverine as he is just sick. I mean, he's not afraid of leaving a couple engagements to attack a better target, it just makes him a little meaner when he takes those leaving engagement wounds.

Deadpool is fun too, but it sometimes depends on the map and opponent. If he can get height, then he's pretty sick with double attacks of 5. But if he's same level vs. a like pointed hero with a high defense, the double attack of 4 isn't huge.

Prof X is great of course, but not as "fun" on the battlefield.

I really like Colossus too. He's a tank and and Fastball Special is awesome for getting grounded heroes to height or other units into engagement with opponents to be annoying.

They might actually be my favorite squad, just for their ability to keep mid level heroes alive long enough to let them really show off their offense.

He responded by asking how would I make him different? What would I do to make him better? After a long pause, I said let me look at him again. After reading and re-reading the card a couple times, I said "Nothing. Just the picture." IMO, he is one of, if not the best unit we have created.

Agreed! And we all had a part to play in this one. In fact, I remember you and I fighting for your idea on Adamantium and how it should reduce defense and not increase his attack like with a deadly strike.

Spidey nailed it though, there really isn't anything you would ever wan to change about this card. It is perfect as is. :D:up:
