Hellboy and BPRD are coming to Horrorclix.
Just saw this on the WizKids site:
HELLBOY TO REJOIN HEROCLIX AND HORRORCLIX GAMES
October 13, 2006 (SEATTLE) — WizKids Inc. announced today the return of Dark Horse Comics to HeroClix® with the release of the seven-figure Dark Horse HeroClix Hellboy and the B.P.R.D Action Pack. This windowed product, which features all-new sculpts and game play, will be released in March 2007.
Hellboy is the popular demon-turned-hero created by Mike Mignola and published by Dark Horse Comics. Hellboy has been featured in a live-action movie, an upcoming animated movie and will be seen in Hellboy 2 by Universal Pictures in 2008. The B.P.R.D. (Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense) is a group of government agents whose sole duty is to protect unsuspecting citizens from the forces of darkness.
Because Hellboy and B.P.R.D. are horror-themed comics, WizKids will be branding this product as a dual HeroClix-HorrorClix release. HorrorClix™ is the new monster-themed collectable miniatures game that is loosely compatible with HeroClix. The Dark Horse HeroClix Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. Action Pack will contain seven monster cards along with victim tokens for HorrorClix compatibility.
“We’re very excited to complement HeroClix and HorrorClix with this great property from Dark Horse Comics,” said Lax Chandra, president of WizKids®. “HeroClix is really a game for comic book fans, and the Hellboy property fits perfectly into the HorrorClix genre. Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. are very high on the wish lists of our players and collectors.”
“Playing Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. will be very easy, no matter which game system you’re using,” said Mark Tuttle, WizKids brand manager. “If you’re playing HeroClix, you’ll use the figure’s dial and reference the standard powers and abilities card. If you’re playing HorrorClix, you’ll use the included monster cards to know how to play each figure. This will become the standard for any dual-branded HeroClix-HorrorClix product we release.”
Exact pricing for the Dark Horse HeroClix Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. Action Pack is to be determined. For more information on Dark Horse Comics, visit www.darkhorse.com.
A wholly owned subsidiary of the Topps Company (TOPP), WizKids is a Seattle-based game developer and publisher dedicated to creating tabletop games driven by imagination. Its HeroClix and Pirates brands are among the most successful games on the market today. The company has sold hundreds of millions of game pieces worldwide. Darn... I was hoping they would say they were going to make Heroclix and Horrorclix compatible :P Would have been fun to watch the superheroes destroy the monsters. Hehe.

Actually, Heroclix and Horrorclix are about 80% compatible. Check the MKRealms.com site (in the Horrorclix section) where they discuss some scenarios they have run using HC and HRC in the same game. They even list rules on how to use HC or HRC figures in the other game using information gathered from their playtesting games.

From the Wizkids Site:
Zombie Spiderman!!
http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix/images/spidey_f.jpg
On Saturday, October 28, 2006 some lucky HeroClix Supernova pre-release players worldwide discovered a Halloween surprise. What caused the excitement was a polybagged HeroClix piece with a compatible HorrorClix monster card in their sealed Supernova boosters. There has been a lot of discussion on the forums about these pieces but we wanted to clarify a few things.
1 : Marvel HeroClix Supernova has indeed been invaded by 4 Marvel Zombies; Colonel America, Spider-Man, Hulk and Wolverine.
2 : These figures are not just part of the Supernova pre-release but are in fact inserted randomly throughout the Nov. 15, 2006 release of Supernova. Consumers will find them in Supernova boosters at a frequency of around 1 in 100 boosters.
3 : If you aren’t lucky enough to get one, WizKids is planning on releasing a Marvel Zombies product in 2007 for the HeroClix 5th Anniversary. We will NOT be reprinting these original 4 Marvel Zombies.
4 : On top of the Marvel Zombies, the Supernova pre-releases were big successes with high point powerhouses like Thanos and the Silver Surfer being the “stars” of the show.
More information will be coming soon. Thank you for your interest and support of Marvel HeroClix!
They are effectively chase figures (extremely rare figures) which stinks but I like the above highlighted part the best. A Marvel Zombie product!

I'm not a fan of the figure but its a good way to incorporate some of the newer alternate universe stories from the comics (yes there's actually a Colonel America in the comics). And (obviously) a neat tie-in for Heroclix and Horrorclix =)

People just want to make some extra $$ especially since they know they can get the figure later for a far cheaper price. What I don't understand is why people pay exorbitant prices for figures which will come out later.
Also for blind purchases it may be a figure the person did not need in which case it makes sense to sell the figure in order to buy more packs to get something the person does need or want. I personally dislike the Zombie Spiderman figure a lot. I would probably sell it too :P

Played in my first Sealed Tourney today (3 boosters-200 point armies). Had a blast. We tracked kill points for the entire tourney to determine the winner. I won all three games but got second since one guy destroyed another player's entire army in the last game. I really like the rules of this game. It plays different enough from HC and MK (no pushing damage, etc.) and really has the feel of horror (mostly campy horror). We were making jokes about the victim tokens as we activated them..."Poor pizza guy..should have called in sick tonight." :D

Gosh... quite a bit higher now, over $380.... hey, the figure is in the UK too!

$380 could be a bargain since their distribution is supposed to be 1:100 boosters, which translates to 1:3 cases (since there are only 48 boosters in a case). At $250 per case (if you buy online), that works out to $750.
I'm hoping to buy a case w/some gifts I hope to receive. Maybe I'll make enough case off of selling extra REVs on eBay that I can buy them, if I do this enough. I also expect the price to come down a little.
I've been fairly lucky finding rarities on the web. I actually picked up an unopened D&D starter from Harbinger (the first one, the brown one) for $40 a few months ago, these usually go for about twice that price.
Anyway, hopefully some of the hype from the Marvel Zombies crossover will die down. Lestat's hype finally ended. I saw a zombie documentary recently that touted zombies as "the new vampires." I reckon this is true w/all the exposure they get these days.

D'OH! Already put the stuff away but the army I used consisted of the following figures (200 pts-from memory):
Razorvixen (Yellow) 25 Pts
Zombie Cop (Blue) 30 Pts
Jester (Yellow) 25 Pts
Devil Imp (Yellow) 20 Pts
Executed Convict (Yellow) 40 Pts
Field Agent (Red) 60 Pts-Extremely glad to pull this one since I don't own a lot of field agents (the Yellow and Red ones are the best, imo).
I also pulled Widow Octavia (Unique) but decided to go with numbers and they did real well. I played on the inside map all three games. The first two games the opponents got to pick the map and on the third game, I got to pick the map and figured the inside map was working so stayed with it. After the games, I traded the Widow Octavia for a Dreamblade rare since I already owned her.
The games were fun and I decided to go back on Sunday to play in the Cthulu rampage (scenario titled Bad Dreams). The Envoy set up a large map using MK Dungeon 3D tiles. The players had 300 points of figures to go through three areas with each area having different objectives and depending on how well we did with the objectives determined how tough the next area was. We didn't do too well in meeting objectives since we all started off fighting each other but eventually we started calling small truces (broken on occasion due to failed breakaway rolls.) Cthulu spawned at the end of the game full power (if we had meet some earlier objectives he could have spawned at lesser power) and destroyed us but it was fun and I picked up some nice LEs from the game. This was a great scenario and it was fun balancing attacking other players vs. allowing them to live to help out in the end. My army consisted of Widow Octavia, Tomb Mummy and Dire Werewolf (290 Points). I tend not to use expensive figures (i.e. Uniques) in normal games but they really did a great job in this game.

Yes, they actually added those better photos in the gallery section now. I think those two figures are very well done. I want a little group of those raptors. It is a shame they are both listed as "rares". You'd think at least the raptors would be commons.

I'm not too keen on the ape and lizardman, but that Metropolis style robot in the box art looks nice.
By the way, for those of you that actually play Horrorclix, someone got into their site (like we used to be able to do on the official HS site) and pulled the powers for most of The Lab characters. They are posted on the Wizkids Horrorclix forum. The powers are probably being worked on and subject to change, but at least you'll get an idea of what they are going for in terms of attacks, etc.

I don't get it either. I think some people just don't "treasure" things the way they used to. I have crap that my kids are going to have to toss when I am dead, simply because they are things that I really like, had to work hard to earn, or they were given to me. It just seems like now a days people just say "I wonder how much I could get for it". I blame it on the whole "collectable game" crap that "magic the gathering" started. Freakin card floppers taking up my war game space.
I agree with capitialism, I guess I just like to hear the stories about people working hard for something, or finding a treasure, or folks sharing their good fortune. That is what makes these items more special.
And by the way, that spiderman zombie is freaking awesome!

WooT!!! I just got a Zombie Wolverine! Time to buy another case, that one worked out so well. I don't know if this matters, the cases are numbered. My number was a multiple of 3. There should be one zombie every 3 cases. Of course you'll be hard pressed to test that theory since you're either buying individual boosters or bricks or ordering cases online, but dammit if that one didn't pay off!

Played a Holiday Horror in the Park game yesterday at an FLGS. It was a blast. The map was littered with ornaments and buildings with a Holiday theme and their were three of the MageKnight Holiday figs out on the board (Clockwork Santa, Santa and Frosty). Each player brought 300 points (3 actions each) and they could forfeit 2 actions on their turn to activate one of the Holiday figs. Clockwork Santa and Santa both have an 15 space aura that negates any type of combat (can't target or be targeted by ranged/close combat attacks) and Frosty is a HUGE beatstick. One guy brought in an all Alien force (mine hadn't arrived yet...gah!!) and I had the pleasure of facing him (the other player in the game spent most of the time getting to our mosh pit). The aliens are potent but all of my figs had at least 1 point of toughness (ignores 1 point of damage from anything...except critical misses) so the acid blood didn't have much effect but they are still nasty and look great! I ended up winning by having two surviving monsters left alive but we all got an LE...so it's all good! Frosty was used to great effect by the guys who lost their armies though. Base damage of 5 plus Thunderblow...ouch. Great time was had by all and the more I play Horrorclix the more I like it.

I thought the Cloaking Predator was the one they were giving away with a voucher for buying the Brick, like Jack the Ripper? Those have been selling between $7.99 to $16.00 lately. Expensive, but you may be able to get it for less than $10. Then again, that is one tempting figure to get ASAP. . .

There are certain action poses that work for miniatures. And then there are those that don't. At least this is my opinion when it comes to sculpts meant for play in miniature games. From the image posted above, I think this is one of those that doesn't work. It might also just be the angle at which the photo was taken, but the pose itself just doesn't say, "Hellboy" to me. I like the pose of the previous HB sculpt (though not the size) from the Indy Clix line:
http://www.devir.com.br/heroclix/miniaturas/Indy/bprd_dark_horse/hellboy.jpg
A more prone stance, yet ready for action with his gun by his side. The above looks too awkward in its dynamics, I guess. I do like the detail and colors. But I'm just not feeling it...

Some more official information on the Queen figure:
The HorrorClix: AVP Alien Queen contains three (3) figures:
1 - Alien Queen with egg sac diorama
1 - Alien
1 - Predator
Rules, tokens, map, couple of twist ties, some plastic, cardboard, peg, rubber band, and maybe a finger print or two.
That better?
The Alien Queen herself sits on the 3" "titan" base. That's the same one that we used for the HeroClix Sentinel dial. The egg sac sits on the colossal dial that Cthulhu used. As for the size of the queen, she is in scale with the Alien and Predator figures. Consider that if an Alien is 8-9' tall, the Queen is 14'. I have seen a lot of people expecting the Queen to be the size of Cthulhu and she's just not that large.
Best,

Really?
I read the AvP stuff was selling well and the next boxed action set is rumored to be Army of Darkness. Judging from the number of Evil Dead fans, that should sell like crazy.
I guess the whole evil carnival thing is just not my thing either. There are some neat zombies in there again I'll get and maybe a few figures for Victorian era civilians, but overall I'm not excited about it.
I really thought they were going to do more movie slashers and perhaps classic monsters. I really want more Lovecraft stuff, if it is well done. That Mi-Go design from The Lab may have been their interpretation of the text, but I thought it was awful.
If anything, it seems like the game may survive through the Nightmares set in Oct that is supposed to use the new 5 figure per box format, etc.

The uniques are not fetching very high prices on eBay and I bought an extra each of the Chain Gun guy and the Borg/Hellraiser chick for $5 each at Generation X Comics. That's dirt cheap. I opened a sealed case and a brick and only got 1 of each of those uniques, but crap loads of the others. They were obviously the very rare ones of the bunch. I think they are selling the non-blind purchase packs well, but the blind purchase boosters don't seem to be generating much interest. I think LilNewbie even has said that he didn't find the game very fun.

I noticed the prices seemed lower. Does Gen X still have loose singles for sale? I need to pick up a few of the zombies and some other figures for conversions and civilians. The prices on the Lab stuff do seem low except for ones I really want like those Velociraptors.
The game itself seems . . .convoluted. The figures seem to have too many powers. It would suck if it crashed and burned though, because it is one of the few ranges that provides dark and edgy figures that look good.
The Dreamblade stuff seems to have gotten too strange and the paintjobs have declined in quality.

The Horrorclix game is actually easy and very enjoyable compared to some of the other WK products. Having all the powers on the card for each figure is very nice. Creating scenarios is a snap and with so much material to draw from it's quite possible to never play the same scenario twice. Most 1-on-1 games last about 30 minutes (depending on player skill and familiarity with the game.) I try to show up at the game store when they run Horrorclix games but a lot of times it gets preempted for MechWarrior (blech...they ruined that game with all the pilot, gear and special card crap) since the guy running the game apparently likes MW.
The next set isn't that impressive yet...ohh a scary circus...yawn. Hopefully there will be some good pieces for HS customs though.

WizKids appears to be having some QC issues lately. The Hellboy Action Pack just released and they had to post an immediate Errata for it:
From the WizKid's website:
HeroClix: Hellboy™ and the B.P.R.D.™ Action Pack Errata issued
Valued Customer,
It has come to our attention that the recent release of the HeroClix: Hellboy™ and the B.P.R.D.™ Action Pack contains a number of misprints and a minor figure error. We as a company always strive to put out quality products on a schedule that will keep our fans enthused and engaged, but sometimes things go awry. While WizKids is unhappy with the errors that occurred, we are very happy with this product overall, and wanted you to know that we’re taking steps internally to ensure future products don’t have the same issues.
While an “absolute” solution to these issues is being determined, we have developed several errata fixes for you to use to play this great product as intended. Despite these small issues, we feel that this product is of high quality and an exceptional game play value. The sculpts, play balance and premise of the set are still (in our eyes) top notch, and this minor errata shouldn’t affect your gaming experience.
We hope that you find this news acceptable. We are working very hard on ramping up the excitement for the HeroClix 5th Anniversary and hope you will remain with us for the ride. If you have further questions or concerns regarding the HeroClix: Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. Action Pack, please contact us at customerservice@wizkidsgames.com , and we will use your input to help us make all of our offerings the best products possible.
These errata are considered to be “official” HeroClix and HorrorClix rulings, and may be used immediately in sanctioned WizKids events. Information and documents regarding these pieces on the WizKids web site will be updated at the first opportunity to reflect these changes

I enjoy the game a lot. The game plays similar to Heroclix but it is a different game overall. They removed pushing in the game (which is a big plus, imo) and figures can activate twice in a row but cannot activate a third time and they become vulnerable to certain abilities. Scenarios are easy to create since there is so much material to draw from in literature, movies, etc. Here is a link to the rules in PDF format from the WizKids site:

How expensive is it overall (to get enough figures etc.)?
Obsidian3d
April 8th, 2007, 10:50 PM
Unfortunately Horrorclix, like most of Wizkid's stuff, is collectible. You buy a starter set (about $17 Cdn) then add booster to your armies. The boosters contain four figures and cost about $10 (again CDN $). The collectors sets like the Aliens and Predators are considerably more expensive, running about $40 for seven figures, but that's IF you can even find the bloody things. They're easily the most sought after figures for the game.
I love the little minis for Horrorclix and Heroclix. In my experience with Heroclix, like VS and other TCGs, it's hard to find players in my area. It takes a lot of fun out of a game, collectible or not, when you can't find anyone who wants to play. Luckily I've been able to find one other local Heroscape player, but I can only talk him into about one gaming day per month. It'd be pushing the limit if I tried to get him into 'clix too.
LilNewbie
April 8th, 2007, 11:35 PM
Unless you are compelled to get a complete set, you only need a Starter and some boosters to have a great game. The Starter has the rules, a map and some victim tokens (along with some non-random figures) that you will need for each game. I would recommend picking up the Starter and 2 or 3 boosters from the Base set and the Lab set to start off. Then head to the Wizkids Horrorclix (http://www.wizkidsgames.com/horrorclix/figuregallery.asp) site and just find singles of the ones you like and that fit your playstyle. I've seen several games won with only commons and uncommons so don't be concerned with getting all the uniques but you can find most of them as singles on EBay for reasonable prices (a few are outrageously priced but not all of them). The specialty sets (Aliens, Alien Queen, Predators and Hellboy/B.R.P.D.) are nice and include extra maps and scenarios for variety but aren't necessary for a fun game.

It has been mentioned there is one interesting zombie coming out in this set named Johnny Dead. He's a confederate (civil war) zombie, missing his legs but holding up the confederate flag. No photos of him yet, though.

It is good to see something other than the evil carnies and clowns.
They have said that there will be zombies in every release, so I will at least spend a few bucks to add some variety to my growing zombie horde.
That Officer 13 is the best figure I've seen from this set so far.
By the way, Troll and Toad just got in some reasonably priced Velociraptors and Corp Response soldiers from the Lab set this week. Those things have been selling for way too much on e-Bay. Anyone who needs those, may want to give them a look.

There are so many good sculpts to use from this game and the earlier Heroclix common figures. I just picked up some more SWAT figures on EBay since they are usable in Horrorclix as additional units or scenario units and possibly as low-powered figures in Heroscape scenarios (similar to civilians but with better defense and attack):

The bottom one is a unique, but I managed to score two of them. ;)

Those are the Corp response guys from The Lab I was talking about. The rookie versions are selling at a low of $3.98 per figure on eBay most of the time.
Troll and Toad had them for 47 cents a piece this week. I picked up 3. I want to take the cool helmeted head off one and put it on the one with the minigun to make them a better matching squad and leader.
That image on the shield is lame. I wonder if that Goo-gone stuff would take it off?
I was thinking of making Umbrella corporation stickers (from Resident Evil) to cover that image up, since they look a lot like Umbrella Special Forces soldiers.

Very true. I have those SWAT figures and they are great as is and for conversions as well.
The basic Gotham city cop that I used on the civilian cards is really good too.
All of these figures should really serve to enhance the experience of playing Marvelscape by letting you add low level guys for the villains to trounce and the heroes to try to save.
Newb, have you by any chance found any nice cop or SWAT vehicles in the correct scale that would work as cover in the Marvelscape terrain?

I found some awesome 1/43 car sets in TRU. The sets range from construction to rescue to police. They are in bright red boxes near the car/truck section. They also had a cool looking 1/48th scale corporate helicopter that fits nicely in modern sets.
The Corp. Response and their leader are awesome sculpts and I managed to grab several of the Corp. Response figs and a spare leader (I use one for HrC and one for whatever). For the shield on the Corp. Response guy: How about just painting the shield black? I'll look tonight to see if it is possible to remove it by scratching it off.
The Gotham cop is a great fig also. I need to break out all the generics from the HC line and see what I have. The Mandroid Armor has always been a favoritre of mine too:

That sounds good. Thanks for the info. I'll have to look for those. Most of the cars in the Wal-mart toy aisles are too small.
I had found some 1/64 scale metal cars to use with the smaller 20mm figures I used to have and they worked nicely. You could easily pound them with a hammer to turn them into crushed or damaged cars for scenery. I'd like to do that for HS; maybe destructible objects for the Hulk to toss around?

I've really started getting into both Heroclix and Horrorclix, but don't get to play very often. I don't get to play Heroscape all that often either, which is a shame. They're all great games, and I like that the size is pretty consistent across all three. We have played using a mix of Heroclix and Heroscape rules on a Heroscape map, and that's quite a bit of fun. Adding little cars and trucks to things sounds like a neat idea. I may have to stick my head in the car section next time I stop in at TRU.

I don't play Heroclix that much anymore but we are trying to get some people together to play some old school HC using some modified rules to keep the power creep to a minimum. Horrorclix has been a blast and I get to play it about once every two weeks. The WK Envoy will throw in Heroclix figures to use as scenario figures that he controls. Last week he used some of those SWAT specialists and two Sentinels bases with the Sentinel figures replaced with some cool ED-209 figures that our Teams ran into while fighting each other. It was a blast and we got slaughtered. :D The simple rules of Horrorclix and the ability to add in Heroclix figures makes it easy for creating some fun scenarios.

Not yet, but it is a rumored license. This deal with New Line for Freddy, etc is one they have wanted for a while. It seems they will be making a new starter set featuring the New Line characters.

It has been mentioned that the Nightmares set was pushed back from the original Oct release date due to Wizkids having to scramble resources to deal with the release of the Halo Clix game.
It also kind of sounds like they are re-launching the game in Feb 08, with Freddy, Jason, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre characters that a lot of Horror fans thought should have been in the game in the first place. It is round 2 for Horrorclix. Hopefully people will buy it, because I like a lot of the figures and the Nightmares set sounded like a step in the right direction after the lameness of Freak Show.

Sometime I cannot believe the turn around time on "very rares" on Ebay.
If I was lucky enough to get a zombie figure in a blind pack...I'm sure as *ell not going to turn around and sell immediately.
I just don't understand this abuse of capitialism. :?
I sold one for $160, then was able to buy another for 90. Then I spent the extra $70 on HS stuff :D

It's official!! Nightmares will be pushed back to February to coincide the release of the next Action Pack feature New Line Horror classics such as Freddy, Jason, etc.
Announcement from Mark Tuttle, Brand Manager of Horrorclix line:
Hey gang,
As most of you have heard by now, we used GenCon to officially announce the next license for HorrorClix. After a very long time, we were finally able to secure the New Line House of Horror, which includes all of the Freddy, Jason and Leatherface films. This is absolutely the number one horror property and the very first one we went after. New Line is very excited about this venture and we want to make sure that everything is perfect.
To that end, we're moving Nightmares from Halloween (which is simply killing me, by the way) to a combined release in February. Literally, as it stands now we are VERY late to get the NLC Action Pack out in time. Since we will treat the NLC product as a starter of sorts, it made more sense to offer the appropriately named Nightmares at the same time. It gives that product a better chance of great success and each offering will bolster the other.
I saw several of the sculpts today and they are just awesome. I honestly thought we'd never see these guys in the game and yet, there they were (in all their bloody gore). I think if nothing else, we'll do the previews on Halloween!
We're currently working on a plan to extend prize support through the remaining months and will try to do some things to keep your player communities excited until then. Certainly the two figures from Nightmares we gave to the EU version of The Lab are causing a bit of a stir.
I realize that February is a long ways away but the light at the end of the tunnel is bright folks.
Best,

Not sure how this will sit with how the game survives but maybe they can have a better set of monsters in the Nightmares set than they did with the lame carnival expansion (There were some cool monsters in the set but overall a pretty bad choice for an expansion).

They will be included in an Action Pack that will also be a new starter set for the Horrorclix game. It should be a non-random set just like the Aliens and Predator sets so you know exactly what you are buying with the Action Pack. Nightmares will be random boosters unfortunately.

Posted on the WizKids forums:
Hello all,
I have officially resigned from my position as Brand Manager at WizKids. I gave my notice on Monday and will work my last two weeks out making sure my Brand lines are planned out as far ahead as possible. I'll leave you with the complete HeroClix lineup tomorrow or Monday and another really exciting announcement next week at Toy Fair!
Why am I leaving? I received a really exciting offer to join the Brand team for Sony Online Entertainment. Video gaming is what I had seen as the next step in my career and when this came up, I decided that it was too good of an opportunity for my family to pass up on. It means leaving behind some great friends but the door is open for some amazing opportunities.
To say that I have been lucky in my career is an understatement. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the best licenses ever. Star Trek, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings (all at Decipher), Marvel, DC, Image, Halo, AVP and Freddy Vs. Jason (at WizKids). I began buying HeroClix the day it released and then within 4 years was the Brand Manager. The Clix platform will absolutely be the hardest thing to give up. We have some amazing products in the pipeline for our Clix lines and by the time they release, I'll be on the sidelines watching in like a proud parent. I'll actually miss the official release date for Crisis which is very sad for me. Based on the reaction to the list, the sculpts and the game play, you all seem to think we hit a home run.
As for you all, wow. You guys and gals are some passionate fans. You oftentimes drove me crazy but it's always better to have people talking about your product, good or bad, than not talking about it at all. I want to thank you all for your dedication, passion, and support.
By the way, yes, I know what the set lists are for the next year in HeroClix, and no, once I leave I will not tell.
To be clear, this has nothing to do with WizKids. They are as sorry to see me go as I am to leave. Like I mentioned, this was such a great opportunity, it was impossible to pass it up. We part on great terms and I will always be there to support them whenever possible.
To call out a couple of folks: Seth is a great game designer and although we often bumped heads, he always delivers the best dials and game play possible. Norm has taken the RA position to new heights. The stuff he's doing behind the scenes is crucial to the success of HeroClix. Bill Rock puts out the best fanzine I have ever seen and it's quality amazes me on a monthly basis. I will still never forget the look on his face when I told him we were getting rid of REV.
So that's all for now. I'll be around and available over the next week or so. We'll have some big announcements coming up about some big things. Again, I want to thank all of you and I hope our gaming circles cross again in the future.
Very best,
Interesting. Seth will probably get the nod to become Brand Manager.

If it is a missing card, Wizkids may not replace it but you can go to the Horrorclix website, download the card and print it:

You can also try to contact Wizkids customer support. They are usually very good about fixing missing/broken figures but not sure about missing cards.

I'm curious... My LGS has a bunch of these, so I was wondering how the game is. How does it compare to HS, or HeroClix? I haven't played any Clix games.
And how complicated is it? I have a Mage Knight stater set with a few expansions for HS customs, but the game just seems too complicated to play.
And one more thing, is it really gross? I've seen some figs that are pretty nasty, but are a lot of them like that? I really hate gore, so....
